Entries for Miss South Africa have officially closed and I thought I’d share 10 entries that I am really excited about.
Granted, it was impossible for me to go through all of the thousands of entries on Instagram, Facebook AND Twitter, but from the ones I did see; these are the ones I am most excited for.
Most of these are re-entries from Miss South Africa 2019, Miss South Africa 2020 and Miss South Africa 2021.
But, who knows, one of these women may be the next Miss South Africa 2022 / Miss Universe South Africa 2022 / Miss World South Arica 2022 / Miss Supranational South Africa 2023.
Who will take over from Miss Universe South Africa 2021 and Miss Supranational South Africa 2022 Lalela Mswane?

Tbh. I'm expecting Lebo and Bianca to be in the Top 5 again. Unlike Karishma and Khothatso, they are prepared. They are great walkers, good speakers and have been actively working on their platform. The new girls better come strong.

Rina re-entering Miss South Africa pageant does not place a contestant lower than the previous entry. In 2017 when Demi Leigh won, Zozibini Tunzi did not advance to compete on the stage. But in 2019, Zozi re-entered the competition and won the Miss SA 2019 title and later Miss Universe 2019. The same goes with Rolene Strauss. Rolene conpeted in 2011 but did not do well. I think 2011 is the year Melinda Bam won Miss SA. Rolene re-entered in 2014 and won Miss SA 2014 title and later Miss World 2014. This will be Anarzade's 3rd attempt at Miss South Africa after 2020 and 2021.
