  1. One of the worst editions of MU under IMG no offense I'm from the PHILIPPINES but this edition looks like its being held in the US not in my country at all 🙄 MUO should've add cultural touch in the stage ugh lots of missed opportunities for this edition 🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. I love that it was held in my country for the 3rd time, I wish it showcased our cultural heritage like MU-2018 did in Thailand

the entire show makes me think that Im watching this in U.S. when it was held in the Philippines 😅

  3. Just imagine walking out in a crowd of 10-15 THOUSAND pageant cazy fans. Yes it was too fast for the TV audience but the girls got to experience walking out and having that insane moment! Also the opening dresses were a good choice. Take it from someone who saw the show live. The girls were visible and easy to tell apart even from very far! It's didn't translate well on TV but the atmosphere was electric!

  4. Philipines hosting is not that bad. But the format was not good. The number of semifinal spots should have been increased. And each contestant had very small time on stage to perform(as competed as groups of 2 or 3) Music and other production could have been modern but more philipino culture oriented than this. Thailand 2018 was the best example for good hosting.
They completely changed the stage, music was completely different and never heard before. Camera angles, format of the competition, timing and all were really good comparing previous pageants. Overall it can get 9/10👌

  5. Miss Universe 2016 had a lot of great and iconic performers, despite the bad format of the show and smaller version of 2015’s stage even if MOA Arena is the biggest venue of Miss Universe ever. Though, in terms of representation of the culture of the host country, this was a bummer compared to the two other times the Philippines hosted. If you watched Miss Universe 2016 and weren’t told it was held in the Philippines, you would just think this was still in Vegas or somewhere else in the States. The final night was just too Americanized.

  6. Poor staging. It’s so small & crowded! And nobody would even know this was held in the Philippines. No cultural representation at all. Seriously Flo-Rida?! They could have invited Bruno Mars instead who is half-Filipino at least.

  7. all Hondurans we are proud of sirey, I love my Honduras. It’s my beautiful country… 🇭🇳 2:56 ♥️and also I love miss Mexico 🇲🇽 cristal Silva♥️4:15
