I just wish the Phillipino people would accept defeat and realize you cannot win everything. Wrong time for this girl. I’m sure she is great bud let’s just wish her well and move forward to next year. Miss World is very consistent in what they look for. I’m not surprised. Miss Philippines was a pleasant girl who had very little personality and was riding on being from her country as a guaranteed placement and as we saw, that doesn’t happen. Videos like this make future candidates look bad because we all know you guys will throw a fit if your girl doesn’t do well. It happens at every big pageant. How about we talk about the gal who looked amazing and won. Let’s focus on that and quit the soar loser bit. It just gets old. Every time I see Philippines compete, I secretly hope that they don’t do well because you guys are such ridiculous cry babies every single time that your girl doesn’t place or win. I’m so over these videos.
The panel of judges of MW were not well diversed , mostly were from host country. So, their next to skin was one of the Top 40 unexpectedly than our Gwen who was included in every categories as top 20's.

I feel asleep watching MW 2024 even before the announcement of the Top 40 😴 It was overwhelmingly too long
On the business side, I can see MW's search process as catering to all their target markets. The fast track events are meant to interest the Zillenial markets. The selection of the Top 40 at- large is the venue where the interests of the traditional markets (Boomer, Early Millennial) come in full display. The continental partition of the choices was meant to satisfy geographic markets. But bottom line in the Top 40: all are beauty and brains and good communicators, with a dose of brawn. So the best bet for the Phils should be a complete package of beauty, brains, brawn and backstory.
We need a physically stunning and charismatic candidate. Gwen is neither.

She does not have what it takes to be a Miss World her defeat is due to Philippines addicted pageant fans posting you tube video that is entirely different what is actually happening in the Miss World world.

Make a YT video about this and dissect the attributes of Megan Young which is already a cheat sheet or template provided to us already.
Preparation is not enough, we have to send the girl that she wanted. They are looking a certain mold. Remember that The Sovereign said the aral na aral ang Venezuela? It has to come out natural.
Ask this, how does Megan and the rest of the Miss World conduct themselves. How they speak, move, walk, pose, etc.
You might want to interview Jonas Gafud or Cory Quirino whose tandem were successful in the girls they fielded for Miss World during their time. You can ask Bessie Besana who accompanied Megan during her Miss World and Bessie was also their when Megan pass on her crown.
Go back to the basics, we already know the formula but the local org seem to forgot this.
Gwen did a good job and we should be proud of her. I see Alexie & VVV as good representatives for MW. They both have good credentials, strong commskills, beauty & advocay. I hope they consider to join MWP if MUPH is not their fate.
adam naman, sa tagal mong pageant vlogger, hindi mo alam na kung sino ang gusto ng organization/judges, yun ang mananalo? na ang pageants ay subjective? si poland (last year) at ngayon si czech rep, nanalo ba ng any of the challenges/head to head/bwap? hinde pero sila pa rin ang nagustuhan ni julia/mwo.

We just have to accept our defeat. Not all the time we win. Afterall, this is a competition and every deserving candidates has potential to win.
napaka unclear nang ms worlyd..you get in the challenges yet thats not enough for top 40 but the africans, all they need is to be a good speaker plus being part of britiish empire in the past or present is a big big plus
