MI's criteria for judging as well as the quality of their judges are turning to be very dubious and questionable. Too many strong, deserving candidates got weeded out. And the winner (Germany) was NOT a standout. Very Disappointing.
I was disappointed it wasnt Jamaica who won…
When they called Peru for the 2nd runner up position, I thouth the crown would be fot Spain. Actually I had Peru, Cabo Verde and Colombia in my top 3
It may be unnecessary for you but for Japanese these are ceremonial aspect of the organazation which is important for them. Try to understand how Miss International choose their queen first.
Germany reportedly also competed in Miss Globe where Maureen Montagne won. She is a busy pageant hopper. 😁
No no they have separate swimsuit I noticed India warming beutiful green swimsuit in preliminary she wore blue …
Miss International is still stuck in the 1970's
When is blondie winning you put,, what,,? Time is changing
1:21 bro it was 1 am in New York 😂
I love how Cape Verde just got 1st runner up on their debut, remarkable
Cape Verde could’ve emulated Miss Universe Botswana, both being African nations that won or were close to winning on their debut year
Meh, Finland deserved to be in the top 15. The top 15 is btw chosen not just based on the preliminary competition but also the girls' behavior etc. is judged all through out the pageant activities. That's why Miss International is a bit harder to predict than some other pageants.
Oh, and their swimsuits were not the same in the finals as they were in the preliminary competition. In the finals everyone was wearing green, in the preliminaries everyone had just whatever.
I agree with you. A big question why Mexico, Vietnam, and India did not place in the top 15.
Germany is amazing .
She also joined miss globe and was a runner up
Miss international values national costume very much. Hence the long time dedicated to it. Fun fact, before 2018, show lasts for more than 6 hrs and more than 2 hrs is for national costumes
Miss India totally robbed .. I hate this pageant
I don't think anyone was expecting Germany. I know I loved Jamaica and Peru the most. I think Miss International just like Miss World go after aesthetics as most important. I'm sorry but Poland was not the most well rounded contestant for Miss World and neither was Germany for International
I was ruling for Peru as well, she had everything to win and I truly believe that she could have given more credibility and commerciality to this pageant. But they preferred Germany. I've heard that these people always choose a very TALL girl, and that may have been the reason why Peru was left as a 2nd runner up, and Germany won. Besides, (and this is just me), I know asian people love very white skin, Germany was very fair skin (which I have nothing against) not tanned at all, I think that may have been something that this organisation appreaciated from her!
I am pretty much sure that the National Costume and the Evening Gown (by twos) was pre-recorded but it is forecasted during the final night. The final night really starts when the girls come out in swimsuit.
The judges have the final say!! We don’t know What happened at the preliminaries!!
India wasted 9 years and Mexico 4 for this pageant they were waiting for unplacement for so long
IN BEAUTY PAGEANTS, THERE IS ALWAYS LUCK….THE STARS ARE ALIGNED TO MISS GERMANY THAT NIGHT….AT LEAST MISS EARTH, INTERNATIONAL AND SOMETIMES MISS WORLD IS NOT BASING THEIR WINNERS IN SUCH CALLED SASH FACTOR….UNLIKE YOUR MISS UNIVERSE, IT IS A BUSINESS PAGEANT, MORE FRANCHISE FEES THE MORE CHANCE OF WINNING…EVERY YEAR, THE SAME COUNTRIES ALL OVER AGAIN….MORE CLOUT,FANS,MONEY…THE MORE CHANCE OF WINNING…THAT WHY EUROPEANS/AFRICANS CANT WIN IN IMG ERA, BECAUSE MISS UNIVERSE CANNOT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM.
I’m still shocked that neither Mexico nor India made Top 15!
Arg these old peagents ( Miss World and Miss International) must just go away 🙄🙄🙄 they are tiring
The comments are hilarious 😂, they're really angry at you Rina. MY 2cent opinion, MU and MS are not all about sash factor countries ya'll need to put some respect on those countries, they're sash factor countries because they put in some work and they're consistent. Hardwork pays off, the smaller countries don't have enough resources that is understandable but that shouldn't be the sash factor country's problem so y'all need to stop being bitter. Aruba, the Bahamas. Singapore made it to the top 16 at MU last year so stop with the lies.
I was not impressed with the stage and the product, ai 🤷♀️
There’s nothing ‘weird’ about the top 15 or the placements. For some reason, people seem to think that Asians and Latinas should have the top spots, it’s the same every year.
I was delighted to see for a change, different contestants coming forward and getting top placements. It’s about time this happened, too many times deserving girls haven overlooked in the past, that’s not to say there are not attractive Asian and Latina ladies, but it’s seems this result has made people sit up and take notice – the times they are a changing.
Hey Rina do you have any idea when Miss World will take place?
Why miss international was so crazy for you??? Your caption is not good!
U say .. U r not trying to be negative but u r negative…. Yes there are some misplaced we thought that will go higher but Germany was in top pick of many… She is beautiful & smart… Jus because she is not predicted winner doesn't mean she doesn't deserve… Everyime ur favourite don't win..
The only thing I like about Miss international is surprises of the winners
Trying hard ka chaka
get some training
Iam very shocked because India and Mexico didn't make it top 15
You are always enormously surprise when white women with blonde hair from Europe is winning. Do you really think only black or dark skin from Asia have right to win?
It was totally worth it for me to stay up (12 am-4 am my time) to see my country Jamaica get its highest placement ever at this pageant. From the moment Izzy entered the national pageant, I thought her beauty and aura were perfect for MI. I was thrilled when I learned that they had selected her for this pageant. I would love to see Chantal Wiertz (another autistic beauty from the Caribbean) try her hand at this pageant. I like the winner. I love when delegates from non-pageant crazy nations win.
