Hizo un buen papel. Y estamos muy orgullosos. Su ingles no esta mal.. ademas como pretenden estas organizaciones de que hablen un ingles perfecto en cuestion de un año. Es algo imposible.
Thereâs other girls that shouldâve place over her. She only made it because of her strong presence. Her interview was generic.
To be a woman that 1 year ago didnât speak English at all, she did amazing. Her determination to overcome all of those situations and her desire to represent her country lead her to do great efforts and also learn a new language from the start. The competition was strong this year and Maria was one of the strongest competitors since the beginning, you did amazing.

The problem was that she needed to be 100% comfortable in English, and the speech and answers became monotonous.

She really nailed it. She did it so well, but I didn't feel the wow factor that I imagine a Miss Universe has. She loves communicating and everyone sees that, but the way she spoke didn't convince me to crown her.

Among the 84 contestants I saw her skin sparks the most. Her beautiful skin stood out the most. Her Q&A is average, not much markings in listener's mind.

Hasta ahora todas han respondido bien, pero se nota que hay algunas lo hicieron mejor y quizås por eso es que Colombia no pudo pasar a una siguiente etapa. Creo que el idioma influye mucho y aunque domines el Inglés, probablemente no se sienta tan natural y hace que redundes en algunas palabras.

No doubt that the pressure at that moment is really high but it's not only about convincing the judges but also she could have been more genuine regarding her answer. She was answering it as if they would make her the miss universe at that very moment or afterwards.

She connected emotionally but not much intellectually. Sheâs very repetitive here. But not a bad job at all. She did good.
