I think self love and self recognition is the key to confidence which can lead you towards success in any field. As a Indian woman I can assured our parents don't teach this to us specially to girls. We are taught to put ourselves in last place in our own life in name of humbleness and politeness. But ultimately it leads to low self esteem and failures.
