I agree 101% of what she said . Why called miss universe single woman ( not married woman or transgender ) because the new ceo of MU is transgender , yes has the right to do to his /her business . However , it feels like the essence is the beauty pageant is gone . I can see the downfall of it in the future . Don’t get me wrong ,transgenders or married women has all the rights to join any Beauty pageants in their respective categories . That’s my personal opinion . Just FYI 😂
That is why it is called 'miss' it meant single women you can never call miss a married or a transgender one it veers away on the real essence of the pageant. Ms diaz is right they should have a pageant of their own category. And yes it is realy better to answer pageant questions on your own comfort language you can deliver your best answer that way.

Miss Universe is a beauty competition for women. The word 'MISS' explains it all. Not MRS., NOT MR. , NOT THEY, and NOT THEM. Ms. Gloria Diaz was only probably suggesting that because the people concern have their own pronoun addresses, they should have their own beauty competition, they shouldn't invade a strictly for women beauty pargents. This is very rude and disrespectful to all women in general.
