11:42, well her gown for the preliminary competition of MU18 was inspired by our Folklore Poem or Folklore Novel that is Ibong Adarna, Ibong Adarna is a very beautiful, colorful, and has a very beautiful voice. Her gown didn't stand out as her final gown or should I say the, LAVA GOWN. And the Designer of that gown, (Mak Tumang) used a different shade/color for the gown, and it seems like a peacock because we also have a peacock here in the Philippines which is the Palawan Peacock-Pheasant. But all the concept for that gown is the inspiration in our Folklore Poem/Novel, the Ibong Adarna.
That signature gown pose of Catriona is now being done by Miss Universe contestants, like the hand slide and placement, the turn, we can tell lol~
Just watched this video. There is a woman who won wearing pants, Aurora Pijuan of the Philippines, wore a pink mini dress with flared pants underneath. She won Miss International in 1970.

Vietnam was trained only by a Regional pageant coach from the Philippines. She's very deserving of her placement, For me she should be 2nd or 3rd placer.

Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, and Turkmenistan 🇹🇲 were formerly part of USSR. These countries are part of central middle eastern asia. Asians are becoming more competitive at par with Latinas and I won’t surprise asians will outshine latinas in the future.
I agreed with what you and Regina said here. I too am surprised people were not talking about Israel’s Evening Wear Performance cause I loved it!! Someone that can go outside the box and then make it work has got to be in the Top 20.
Also I loved how you ended the video with your thoughts, people can root and comment about who they want to win without being negative, mean, and hateful about others. Let’s just have some respect and consideration for these women and their journeys.
PS: I would love for you make a video about the stories around the evening gowns we see contestants wear. I believe that would be so fascinating & eye opening
