I miss so much those clays when Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe had all that elegance. The music from the Navy, the openings number and the musical show at the middle of the pageant.
It’s such a list that sadly Mr. Trump made all that disappear.
The old pageant where such a dream I could and still watch them many times.

California was just stunning with that gown , followed by Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Oklahoma was underscored in this competition, they got this event right. Such a shame for Tennessee, beautiful woman, hideous dress
Miss Texas was the clear winner here, expertly trained and very very pretty. Miss Georgia was also worthy of the crown but her gown looked like it was dripping in Xmas tree tinsel, kinda tacky. Mississippi was cute, but not Miss Universe material. Same thing with Miss Florida. Miss Illinois was so elegant, she should have made top 5. Maryland looked a little slutty, Oklahoma kind of plain, and Miss California, what on earth was the big deal about her?? Maybe she spoke well, but she was not pretty and that purple gown didn't flatter her. Maybe if she'd pinned her hair up and a silvery/ white gown. Georgia was one of the most stunning woman in the Miss USA – look at her gorgeous face. Miss California, Diana Magana is so very elegant and regal. Miss Texas, beautiful and her eyes are so magical … they light up the stage. This pageant is great and so sad that they are not this prestigious now! Maybe the Fox Network can bring it back up and since women are now running the pageant – Elevate the Miss USA and Miss Universe back to the great ratings it use to be!

OK what in the heck is up with Tennessee is gown hahah oh the 80s ! I thought that Mississippi was great throughout the whole pageant and she had a really cute personality but Texas hands-down was the most gorgeous and her gown was stunning even for the 80s ha ha. Texas also did this thing with her mouth every time that was just sexy and confident, it set her apart !

I agree with the political thing, esp it was held in Taipei, Taiwan, but with Miss USA Courtney Gibbs, I did not like her evening gown, nothing special, she could have done way better, Miss Thailand gown was very elegant for that era in the 80's I think Diana Magania would have gone all out with her gown 🙂 if she was representing USA that year
Watch Miss Texas 1988 closely, she has the 'confidence' throughout the entire competition, all thou my original thoughts, Diana Magana Miss California would have given Miss Thailand Porntip Nakaringkanok miss universe 88 a harder challenge..
