im a filipino, i'd say tie, because pure filipinas and thais looks the same, most filipinas who joined miss universe were half europeans or either have ancestry from latin america or the U.S, because in the philippines half europeans/white are viewed as the superior and more beautiful people.

In my opinion so far from 2015 to 2021 Thailand sending a Ms Universe caliber, what makes Thailand lacking is that the training, when I was watching the video one thing that I've observed is the styling of their candidates, they must know what's the best style of their make up and their hair coz it's one requirements also for you to be standout, in the Philippines the girls are the one who their make up and hairstyle during final show of their national pageant and even in Ms Universe. Also one thing is that Thailand are always searching for a girl who can speak English fluently when in fact Ms Universe is not looking an English speaking candidates their looking for a girl who can speak in large audience and someone who can voice her platform. In the first place English is not their first nor second language unlike in the Philippines English is our second language prior to Filipino. And that is something that Thailand should put in their minds that English is not a basis of intelligence. I like also how Philippines send their candidates all of them are beautiful and unique they send different kinds of beauty unlike in Thailand most of the girl they send has a common features. I hope Thailand choose a candidate who has a commanding aura and wit even though it can't speak English. In 2021 I really like kasama a top 5 finisher I really like her she's a modern and traditional Thai she's very beautiful and her walk and performance is breathing taking. She's really killing it, unfortunately she's was not able to snatch the crown because she's trying to speak English during the q and a round, but if she use Thai language maybe she can win it. PHILIPPINES secret:
1. They send unique girls that are different from the previous years. They don't have a "mold". Their girls become the new "peg".
2. Beauty is secondary when they pick a representative. What they are looking for first is substance and intelligence.
3. Their girls have the biggest support from the best pageant fans in the world.
4. Their training is wholistic (pasarela, personality development, question and answer, etc) and they make sure their girls are in a good mental state during the competition as they provide them with professional psychology consultations.
5. Their queens are very much significant and respected. They are given several platforms to advocate for their causes and chosen projects.
