the one variable that overlaps every issue that so few people understand is the fall of the Judeo/Christian ethic – it was THE stabilizing factor (for good or worse) over the last 2 millennia. I study the Bible as a lifestyle and I have the equivalent of a doctorate in Theology and I can tell you that things have changed dramatically in the church and I do not see any clear way that they could ever change back. Society made it into a policy to rid the world of God. Everything makes sense when you understand that God represents the unmovable mover. The First Principle. The foundational Truth upon which all of modern society was built. We are living in a Post-Modern reality that does not have a fixed principle by principle. It is a worldview inherently deconstructive and systemically parasitic. Eventually it will devour itself, but the decay and carnage it will leave in it's path is hard to imagine. Then, what will replace it? I pray it is the God of the Bible – the God of Grace and Peace – because if it is any other God, it will be the end of human civilization. For real.
