Both are beautiful so
Philippine is more secure on her voice
But Thailand more secure on her looks
One of them is perfect in every angle. The other is almost perfect but very unique, has more confidence ( one can tell in Q & A where her answer flows and doesn’t sound rehearse or memorizes) She has this certain je ne sais quoi. I think the latter will win.
Miss Universe is not about beauty, being sexy or gorgeous it all about commitment , hardwork, force for good and a ambassador of good will.
Beauty Queens are a good role model, charitable and an advocate to those who are voiceless, oppressed and hopeless individuals.
I am Filipino and I am proud to say that Miss Philippines will excel in the Miss Universe stage.
I always believed that a Filipina beauty queen is very dedicated and loyal to the organization. Hardworking Filipino trait is very evident internationally. Miss Universe is a job therefore Filipinos can perform well even under pressure.

To be fair, Miss Thailand didn't quite answer her question. The question was asking what else does she consider as the foundation of life other than education, and she replied that what's more important than foundation of life is the quality of life. The right answer would have been to say something like values or building systems of support, etc. that would hopefully bring about a good quality of life. Miss Thailand looks great though and, if she makes it to top 5 or 3, I hope that she will hit the nail on the head by truly answering her/the question.
Philippines is a strong woman of the 21 century but Thailand is more charismatic and has the 101% package :-). Both very good contenders for the crown.

PH is so mediocre. Physically very mediocre. Kung itatabi xa sa mga latina di talaga siya mapapansin. Aside from that, very weird yung lakad niya. Dinaan sa gimmik na pasnake2x lols. She's also very uncharismatic. And the way she talks parang nasa school lang. Not that articulate.

Actually Veena nailed the q&a. Anntonia's answer was only to give back to the community. Anntonia no doubt is an eloquent speaker but there is no depth in the way she answer questions.

Mala Catriona daw si antonia, but, really, I don't find her a threat at all. She can speak English well, that's true; but Veena and Jazzys answers makes more sense to me. I find MMD smarter that antonia. Antonia can be a performer in terms of Awrahan pero marami Yan sa Latin countries. But, MMD is a quick thinker, she's got wit. These ability takes years and years to learn. It's something inherent; you're born with such ability or exposed with people with great minds (probably). With MMD, It just needs to be ironed out or polished and she's good to go. Her pasarela may be weak but that can be learned in a matter of weeks and months. Practice Lang ng practice. My teacher used to say practice makes perfect. But to me, PRACTICE MAKES PERmanent!!! MMD PLEASE PRACTICE YOUR PASARELA FOR THE PHILIPPINES!!!!
Giving back to community is a very basic answer. Not well thought of. Not a global issue, the candidates have been doing that. Passable answer but not a great one. 5 out of 10 score.

Michelle Dee’s commitment to her advocacy and her communication skills will allow her to be successful at Miss Universe. She is very unique in the way she presents herself and the way she performs and she is so eloquent and eccentric when she speaks, speaking with conviction and compassion whenever she is given a question. There is no doubt that Anntonia is absolutely gorgeous and her performances are always top notch, but if we’re considering a Miss Universe level performance, it is 100% Michelle Dee!!
I think the MUO will look for a girl who has a strong profile and is a potential spokesperson. We sent Celeste already but they are still not convinced with her beauty so I think they don't mind if the girl is very pretty or whatnot but what she could offer to the table, it's gonna be a microphone mukbang or speech competition. The closed-door interview will be a deciding factor for the judges. So many strong reps for this edition. Good luck to the girls!! Rooting for ASIA
