UPDATE: Those who are crying over this costume…It is the best costume tied with Peru in @Pageantsandcarpets page and also in the top 11 NC in @officialglobalbeauties. So before you rant, be reasonable even for criticism. May be we should learn as a society frm other Asian communities on how they relentlessly support their queens no matter what. There has been absolute no effort and support put in by team India for this national costume maybe they think its not at all important. This is more of a national dress than a costume. A costume should be depicting something more meaningful. In many places I feel she has tried to copy what Sushmita Sen said and did back in 1994. Same formula will certainly not work now. Even other Asian nations like Indonesia Cambodia Nepal have done so much better.

Most of the Indian watchers are disappointed on the national costume of India. The national costume willn't have any role to make her into top 21.The preliminary interview, evening gown, swimsuit and mannerism. Vote for her on the miss universe app. I hope she had a good costume in preliminary round and I am sure that she will perform the round very well. She jad not at all a good costume but she doesn't disappoint me because she make her round beautiful with expressions as well. She depicted the costume of South Indians especially Karnataka and the pink colour depicted our lotus color. So vote for her, support for her, love her, pray for her and I am sure that she will bring the crown for India and the supporters around the world
