Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng was crowned Miss Thailand -World 2014 on Sunday night, June 21, 2014.
The 20-year-old singer and model will represent her country in the Miss World pageant later this year. Maeya also won the Talent and Top Model fast track events.
First runner-up was Venus Nanthachai while Crattrika Sittipom finished second runner-up. Compeleting the top five finalists are Jackie Lawless and Wadchara Nakkasem.

I'm Filipino. If i have to choose, i'll pick the 1st runner up… She's super pretty, profile and front view, she's got a very lovely face. The only thing that i like with the winner is her exotic color, but when it comes to face, the second runner up should have been the winner!

@ Ralston Gee. I totally agree with you. I never said this obsession was restricted to Asians, although it's ridiculous in Asia among common people who have no money to do this. And don't forget I live here and see it every day! And yes, also the whites are completely fucked up, doing their faces, boobs, ass, you name it. People are insane who do this, regardless what color they are, and regardless where they come from. All this irritates me because all these people, white or otherwise, make other, YOUNG, people believe they are not good enough without tampering with their bodies. Everything revolves around looks and money, and more and more superficial people follow this trend, instead of reading their schoolbooks, they prefer to put their faces in a gossip magazine which tells you how to look, what to think, how to behave. Have you any idea how many people prostitute themselves in Asia to get the money for all the surgery? And for sure in Thailand it is so important to reach the "white dream look".
Listen, I am white, and I love people of all skin colors, and I look at their hearts and not at their faces, so this whole "fakery", I can't stand it. But honestly, I made up my mind, I don't care anymore. I'm out of this discussion, and I stay away from all the idiots, male/female, white or colored, who betray who they really are. Let everybody do what they want… they will find out when they're older and their faces fall apart, and when they get cancer because of all these implants and injections, Botox, and all that shit. Time will tell, as you can see with many American movie stars who fucked up their faces due to numerous operations and implants, just look at Mickey Rourke, handsome fellow when he was young, and now? A steroid plastic dummy.
Many look like plastic dolls now, nothing is natural about them, but when you're young, like these girls, you won't see it. Just wait till they get older, and need more surgery, and newer implants. All these stupid and superficial people will suffer for not wanting to listen now, and betray their true self.
And yes, a lot of men love this whole thing. They just want the perfect sex doll. Time will be hard on them when they get older and have to look in the mirror…. and don't forget Michael Jackson, what happened to his face and skin color. With all his wealth he couldn't even save his face, and turned into a vampire look alike…. enjoy all these Miss contests, and dream on………… One day the nightmare you wake up in…won't be a bad dream, it will be reality. Enjoy your puppets. My friends are real people, with a healthy self-esteem, and a well functioning brain.
