Two versions of the same project. The first one “I miss you: the soloists“ a video-installation with nine metallic structures, nine black and white 7” monitors without case, 9 b/w videos (3 min loop each)with the music of Juan Diego Florez´s interpretation of the Aria “Una furtiva lagrima“ by Gaetano Donizetti.
The second version is “I miss you: the ghost“ a video-installation with a hand made video projector, black cardboard box, metal structure, portable media player, paper, speaker and colour video (4min loop) with the music of Clara Rockmore´s interpretation of the piece “Vocalice“ by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
The projects I miss you: the soloists and I miss you: the ghost were possible with generous help of Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation’s Grants and Commissions Program.
