Garlicfarm, Bob's shenanigans, as you put it, didn't start until he was named executive producer in 1988, and after '88 was when all the behind the scenes turmoil started. He stepped down as host of The Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants in 1987. So I'm guessing that Bob was a good boy during his reign as hosts of the pageants.. LOL.
Knowing Bob Barker's shenanigans with the TPIR models, it would be interesting to know how much of that carried over to the Miss USA pageant.
