My father who was white and American Indian Cherokee nation, he told us to always save cash too. That was bc of the Great Depression! No body trusted banks . Money was being hidden by all colors of people. He is going on and on how dangerous it was but he stayed w grandkids in the house. Plus his daughter flew all over seems she felt pretty safe to me.
