Get Pageant Questions Written By A Miss Universe Judge
The official Parades for Miss West Coast 2016 were held on Saturday February 20th and Sunday February 21st at Westfield Carousel.
This was be the first time contestants from the West Australian Top 70 strutted their stuff in front of cheering onlookers and judges, showing off all their hard work at weekly boxing sessions at Hurt Locker and regular pilates classes with the Pilates Fitness Institute. The Contestants
showcased the latest collections from Amore & Sorvete Swimwear, Steph Audino label as well as the latest fashions from Westfield Carousel retailers. This was also the first time the girls to grabbed the microphone and introduced themselves to WA. This is hot off the back of the announcement that Pink Tank Events will now be running the Miss Universe Australian preliminary nationally. The six Miss West Coast winners will now progress straight into the national Miss Universe Final, later this year.
Hosting the official Parades this weekend was the beautiful Miss Universe Australia 2012 Renae Ayris, who flew in from Sydney and Sophia Barbagallo.
The judging panel on the day will be providing feedback for the girls to take on board for their upcoming Heats, taking place on Sunday March 6 at Hotel Rottnest and Saturday March 12 at The Breakwater. Just a handful of girls from each of these heats will then go on to compete at the Miss West Coast 2016 State Final, to be held in early April at Matisse Beach Club. The panel this weekend will include Steph Audino, Westfield Carousel stylist Michael Walton, previous Miss Universe national finalist contestants Rachel Ayris, Lia Tapper and Melissa Barnard, as well as Sophia Barbagallo and newly
appointed National Miss Universe Director Troy Barbagallo.
Spectators scored themselves official Miss West Coast goodie bags and plenty of awesome prizes that were up for grabs for enthusiastic cheerers, including vouchers to Westfield Carousel.
