Miss USA Loses Social Media Access

Something seems a miss at the Miss USA organization. After recent cryptic posts from Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, both titleholders shared stories on their personal pages, that disclosed they lost access to their titleholder accounts. Their year of reign has been quite unusual. As a former titleholder and pageant supporter, I hope things return to business as usual, as soon as possible.

  1. Personally if I could I, I wouldn't want to compete because I feel like if I was the traditional pageant contestants (single, biological, physically fit etc, inwouldnt want to watch my money be wasted and the title go to someone who is crowned because of social justice, and it make a good news story. Why compete if we are not on equal footing.

  2. There is no over exaggeration. The proof is there. Just with the little tidbits you have shared. What has happened to that competition(s)? It has become quite chaotic and very disorganized

  3. I don't think Queens should have access to the "MIss" social media accounts. I'm sure they all have their own personal social media accounts.
The account content should be restricted to events and matters specifically to the organization.
When the reigning Queen makes Public appearances she should always have a Chaperone with her.
The Chaperone's presence is not only for the Queen's support but also as a representative of the Organization whose responsibility is to gather all pertinent information and materials and turn them over to the designated Social Media Team to analyze for relevancy and Brand Quality.
    This is Brand Control

  4. On April 18 they would be showing the official candidate/delegates of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 can you please cover that?! Thank you for your videos ❤

  5. Dani, unfortunately, I see glaring contradictions in many statements you've made. You complain about the social media content for Miss USA being poor for the last several months…yet the two titleholders who are now complaining about being "silenced" were the ones doing the posting! So, which should it be…the titleholder's "voice" (no matter how bad or uninteresting), or the company's? Do you not see a problem with Noelia and Uma posting passive aggressive jabs to their employer on a public forum? Do you condone this? If they feel they've been wronged, shouldn't they just resign? You pointed out that under IMG, titleholders never had direct access to the company's accounts anyway (and neither does Miss America) — so why not use this fact to bring people back to REALITY? Neither Noelia nor Uma were "silenced" or victimized in any way. Can't you simply make that point, if you're being "fair?" As an authority on pageantry, I would have expected you to help calm the situation down with FACTS, instead of exacerbating it with gossip. Also, on the one hand, you point out MUO's "fake inclusiveness" shown in their meeting…but, also talk about women waiting until they are older to compete (i.e., "waiting it out') as if they think they'll have a real chance to win. Which one is it…fake inclusivity or real inclusivity? If people keep carrying on this way, pageantry will go away for good because no one will be willing to invest in big budget pageants. Who wants this type of backlash from people who have no appreciation for how difficult it is to break-even, let alone make a profit? The "glory days" of Miss USA where the money was flowing freely are GONE! Trump never made a profit and, based on real accounts from Miss USA alum, he used the pageant to traffick beautiful women to his rich friends…he S-A'd them, and violated their privacy in the dressing rooms — even the teens! Laylah is entitled to some growing pains given the quick turnover and all the bad press she inherited. I would think that you'd understand and appreciate that out of everyone… Just my opinion.

  6. As crazy as this may sound, I'm just waiting for the day when we learn that all of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA contestants are AI generated and the winner's social media content is actually done by Layla Rose and "Staff". Sort of a "Ignore the man behind the curtain" thing.

  7. From my perspective, pageantry as a whole is at major risk of falling apart, and I think the fact that the cracks in pageantry are impacting USA/MU is just indicative of how deep these problems go. International Pageant Day saw a lot of titleholders speaking up or at least alluding to similar problems of being censored, mistreated and mismanaged by directors. Miss Black USA just stepped down this past weekend for similar issues as USA and Teen USA are telegraphing here. Major growing pains in pageant world 🙁
