Title: “Effortless Radiance: A Busy Mom’s Secret to Long-Lasting, Flawless Makeup”
Review: Personal Review: Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Color Correcting Face PrimerAs a stay-at-home mom in my late 30s, life can get a little hectic—early mornings, endless errands, and long days where self-care often takes a back seat. That’s why I was thrilled to try the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Color Correcting Face Primer. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer in my daily routine.First things first, the texture is lightweight and silky, which makes it a breeze to apply. I appreciate how it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my skin—something I’m wary of with other primers. The niacinamide and cica ingredients are an added bonus, as they help soothe my sensitive skin and reduce any redness I get from rushing around or braving cold weather. Within seconds of applying, my skin feels calm, refreshed, and noticeably smoother. Now, let’s talk about the color-correcting magic! I have some uneven skin tone, and this primer does an excellent job of neutralizing redness without looking cakey or overdone. It creates a beautifully even base that grips my makeup perfectly. Whether it’s a simple tinted moisturizer for school drop-offs or a full face of makeup for a rare night out, my makeup stays put and looks fresh for hours—no touch-ups required!Another major plus is that it’s cruelty-free. As someone who tries to be mindful about the products I buy, it’s reassuring to know I’m using something ethically made.Overall, this primer has quickly become a staple in my routine. It’s realistic to say that no product can erase life’s chaos, but Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later makes me feel polished and put together, even on the busiest days. I would highly recommend it to any busy mom (or anyone, really) looking for a reliable, skin-soothing primer that keeps makeup looking flawless.Thank you, Elizabeth Mott, for creating a product that truly lives up to its name—I’ll definitely be thanking you later!

Title: First review on my new account – Cause this product actually works great!!
Review: I had severe acne as a teen. Underwent Laser facial resurfacing in my late teens for the scarring and I think the Doctor went too deep, or I didn’t recover properly, or both. Ever since, I’ve had extremely sensitive facial skin, especially the cheeks, temples and nose. Chronically red unless conditions and health are perfect. Cold or hot weather, almost any cleanser or moisturizer, and even emotions like stress would enhance it. Forget alcohol or lack of sleep – I’d look terrible. I have been using Clinique’s “Super City Block” for years to protect my skin and add a bit of color blending, but they recently discontinued it. I was back to square one. Had one last comment from an old friend in December 2024 – “Boy your face is red as can be!” I hunkered down and found this product. It’s a Primer…. I’m a 30 something male I don’t know what that even means. But the essence of my review is this – This product alleviated my facial redness, evened out my skin tone surprisingly well (I’m not easily surprised – I’ve been through it all for nearly 20 years) and lasted a whole 9 hour shift, aside from my normal greasiness coming through by the end of the night. I’ve only had it one week, it’s now January 8 2025. But I am so satisfied I felt compelled to come write a few minute recommendation for this. It literally cancels out face redness but it’s not just a colorful makeup. I read it has some skin moisturizers to soothe skin as well. Again, Primer. I will one day research what a Primer is. Meanwhile… I can hold my head up high at work and among family and friends knowing my face doesn’t look like I’ve been sunburnt again. In the Wintertime… Smh. I recommend this very much for the price! I’m excited to have found it. Eric Anton – Peoria, Illinois

Title: Works on partial hooded, oily eyes 😀
Review: Okay — I almost threw this eye primer out, but I’m sure glad I didn’t! I finally figured out how to make this work for my skin/issues and I keep checking mirrors wondering when my eye makeup will inevitably crease, and it doesn’t! Find my ‘how-to’ below…Backstory — Months ago I had a birthday and decided my present to myself would be spending more time/money on makeup which led to spending more time/ money on skincare. Admittedly, I am newer as far as experience, but because of the benefits of youtube, I have learned so much from experts and self-taught alike and am likely at least intermediate status now, hehe. However, despite many good tips for partially hooded/oily eyes like mine, nothing worked. Whether it’s a light dabbing of foundation, or powder, or eye powder/ cream/ glitter, within an hour at most my eyes will have long lines in my crease and makeup on the lid has stuck to the higher hooded cave, etc. I was beginning to feel like I could only opt out or constantly dab out the little shimmer I had on my lid (I love shimmers!). But then, I put a few tips from a few sources together and it works, over and over again, it works! My eyes don’t crease to my astonishment! Here’s what I do for successful non-creasing makeup on partial hooded and moderately oily eyes:1. Avoid skincare on eye (skin) real estate, start with a clean canvas. However, I’m not going to forgo the uber important skin health protector sunscreen, so I do still use this on skin around my eyes. (Keep in mind I’m using Korean spf 50 ordered off Amazon by P.Calm – it’s amazing and throw’s all older generation spf’s out of the water (feels like light quick absorbing lotion, no sting, primes makeup, not oily, perfection! If you haven’t tried a newer generation spf for your face – do yourself an amazing favor and look for one from J or K-beauty brands NOW!)2. After ~15minutes to allow spf absorption and dry down, take a blotting tissue or equivalent (I use kim wipes) and thoroughly blot your lids, eyelashes, skin up to brow. (I’m also venturing into doing the same for my under eyes which always crease as well, but haven’t done enough to stand by the method.)3. Squeeze a ~1/2in line of ThankMeLater eye primer onto index finger (they say smaller than a pea, but essentially enough to lightly coat the eye area), then I dab primer onto the other index finger to spread evenly between both fingers, and then I dab this onto my eyes, up into my crease, and all the way up to my brows. It has a light pink/corrective color about it, and on my fair/light skin it just gently evens out the darkness under my skin. Wait ~3-5minutes until primer is fully dry and not tacky.4. I then go in again with the blotting tissue over the area to remove any moisture/oil that may remain. Finally, use a small fluffy brush, swirl and tap multiple times in translucent powder (I’m liking e.l.f.’s HD powder right now) to fill with powder but not excess, and thoroughly dust all over lids, crease, up to brows.5. Do your eye makeup!6. Finish with a matte setting spray (I’m liking the e.l.f. blue light mist), I do this after all makeup is done, but it’s possible an under and over eye shadow set spray could be effective.I haven’t done anything to wild yet, but I’m used to even a tiny smudge of cream colored shimmer or powder eye liner working its way up/melting and creasing up between my lids and hoods, and it doesn’t happen with this method and this eye primer! I’m so amazed, because I’ve tried pieces of this plan to no avail, and I had convinced myself I just can’t wear eye makeup. Also, this is so great, it works alone to just have evened-out complexion on the eyes and/or for a very modest light matte powder or highlight type shimmer, which is what I do most days!Hope this helps someone out there! Hope this also reminds us all to not hastily reject a product for skincare or makeup — I’m a perfect example — get some advice, educate yourself, experiment, and maybe you’ll find the product wasn’t a waste. I seriously tried this primer 5 times and it smudged and creased to the point that I thought it’s worse to use the primer than not, but I just hadn’t figured out what worked for me yet 🙂 Thank YOU Elizabeth Mott Thank me later eye primer!

Review: I’ve tried quite a few eye primers in my day mainly because I tend to have oily eyelids. I don’t particularly wear a lot of eye makeup so I’m not coating my eyes with a lot of different layers of eyeshadows like some Youtubers will do but having said that, I believe that whether you use a little makeup or a lot, I feel that your eyelids can still benefit from using an eye primer.I actually just use a matte foundation (Revlon Colorstay for Combo Skin) on my forehead area and I bring it down around my brows and down onto my eyelids and then a little under my eyes around my lashes just so that I have an even matte type of look. My skin is clear enough that I don’t need to use foundation to even things out on the rest of my face. After I lightly blend some foundation onto those aforementioned areas with my fingers (yes that’s right, I don’t need nor do I use a brush or a sponge for that), I will take a very small dab of eye primer (and I mean the size of one of those sewing pins that has a rounded ball tip on it) and I put some on my left middle finger and then I take my right middle finger and tap them together to evenly disperse the product on my fingers and then I take my left finger and tap my left eyelid while my right finger taps my right eyelid and I lightly go over each eyelid. I then put a light dusting of pressed translucent powder (Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless) onto my eyelids and forehead to set everything. I mostly don’t use eyeshadow but when I do that would be the next step. Anyhow, after that, I put on my gel eye liner with a brush and then I add some mascara (Essence Lash Princess) and I call my eyes done. Later on in the evening when I remove my eye makeup which is a good 12-14 hours later, I always take a good look at my eyelids and I check and double check and honestly they are ALWAYS set perfectly where there is no oil or creasing of any kind. It literally looks like I just did my eye makeup. THAT is a testament to how good this product is. It reminds me so much of the Tarte one that I loved. In the past I’ve used Milani’s eye primer in the little grey tube with the black lid but unfortunately it creased on my eyes even with my simple makeup routine, so whether or not I used eyeshadow, it didn’t matter because my eyelids would crease and/or look oily. Didn’t really get any success with one of the ELF eye primers. It was the wand in a tube type. This was years ago so I can’t remember the full name of it…Up until now my holy grail eye primer was the Tarte Cosmetics Clean Slate 360 Creaseless 12-Hour Smoothing Eye Primer but naturally the company discontinued it (insert very angry eye roll). I then tried the NYX Proof It Eyeshadow Primer (note: the black and white tube and packaging looked almost identical to the NARS eye primer which BTW, I have not tried and is still available AND very pricey) and I loved that and used that for a good long while but unfortunately that company also discontinued that eye primer. WTH? Anyway, I also moved on and tried and liked the Hard Candy Eye’s The Limit Eyeshadow Primer in the tube and happily used that and as far as I know, it’s still available online here and there. It’s really close to the Tarte and NYX eye primers. So, fast forward to me browsing around the internet to see what’s out there and I noticed the reviews and packaging of the Elizabeth Motte Thank Me Later Eye Primer. My curiosity got me. I like that it comes in a tube. I do like the little wand/.brush in the NYX packaging but if I had to pick one over the other I would go for my eye primer being in the soft squeeze type of tube component.***I’m editing this to explain why I prefer a soft squeeze tube. One of the reasons is that on two separate occasions, my NYX Proof It Eye Primers fell out of my bathroom cabinet and onto the floor, shattering the bottoms of the plastic components. One of them was about 1/3 full so there was a good amount of product left while the other one was newly opened so it was nearly full of primer product and such a waste. Both were unsalvageable because of the condition of the cracked and damaged plastic. Secondly, I feel that the squeezability of a soft tube helps you control what comes out, thus being able to squeeze out a round pin-tip sized amount, a pea sized amount or something even larger etc.. You also have to consider that anything with a wand inadvertently forces some amount of air into the product every time you open it and close it. In my opinion, soft tubes have such a small opening that the amount of air that can seep into the product when you open the cap is virtually nil.I noticed a review somewhere where someone was using eyeshadow/eyelid primer and they said it was sticky or too oily for their eyelids and their eyelids creased and I just have to think of how people tend to overuse things. A little dab will do you. For example, I saw one Youtuber putting on concealer over top of her eyelids and under her eyes etc and it looked like she was icing a cake. And then she blotted it with a damp sponge so yes, some of it was removed and melted into the sponge but I found it to be too excessive for a smooth finish. So, before you knock a product, try using it in different ways just to see if you’re over using it etc…I love the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer and I am hoping like heck she doesn’t discontinue it…my little heart can’t take much more…lolUPDATE: This tube lasted me so long. Holy cow. I originally bought one in October 2023 and finally repurchased it in July 2024 and it was a Prime Deal so I was lucky as it was nearing the end plus if I recall I didn’t actually start using it until August or September. That’s a long time to use one tube. As I said, it lasts forever. One improvement they made was putting a nice cap on the end of it so the tube can stand up now as opposed to that cap it came with before. Still the same great formula.
