Title: Beautiful, Quality MOB dress!
Review: 04/23: I love this dress and can’t wait to wear it as my MOB dress at my daughter’s wedding next month. It is an Alex Evening, so the style and quality are on point. The color is beautiful and very flattering. I’m 5’1” and with a 3” heels it only needs slight hemming and taken up a little on the shoulders. The fabric drapes beautifully and is so soft and comfortable. As the MOB, I was concerned the side slit would be too high but it isn’t. It stops at or about an inch above the knee. Big +, I can wear a regular bra with it too. The brooch at the waist is not detachable, but it’s pretty and I will wear some dangling black stone earrings and bracelet. It’s just what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Title: Solid dress
Review: This was a nice dress. Liked the color, weight and stretch of the fabric. It was a pretty cut with quality feeling raised beaded appliqué accent. The shoulders have a built in bra strap holder which was nice.I am 5’9” 180 lb and fit in size 14. The 16 was too loose with the shoulders and bodice falling down. The slit seemed a bit high for the dress style- but not a dealbreaker as there was ample material in the skirt. Unfortunately it was too short for me in both sizes, so was a send back.

Title: Great color well made
Review: I’ve been on the hunt for a wine colored dress. So many dresses that I have ordered and sent back or too pink, too purple or just a funky brownish color. This one is exactly the color I was looking for. The fit is good for reference. I am 5’ 5 and 173lbs. It’s roomy it’s comfortable and fits my body shape. Perfect.

Title: Simple but heavy
Review: I ordered a 12, then a 10. If I were to wear for my daughters wedding I’d purchase an 8. The material is stretchy and a little heavy. That was for the 3stars. Simple with some elegance. Great value was on sale. No lining so that would add more weight to the overall design.

Title: Comfy and elegant
Review: Wore this to a banquet. It was very comfortable. The slip is high enough that it helps me not look so short. Only complaint is the arm holes are a tad big and my bra showed a big. I’m have a sizeable chest though, so that probably doesn’t happen with others.

Review: Jersey stretch fabric is light and comfortable. For a Mother-Of-Groom occasion. Size 16 was perfect for me 5’9″ , 175 lbs. Well made. Nice touch to have loops in shoulder to secure bra straps. Very pleased with this purchase.

Review: This dress is shockingly flattering given my recent experience with a purchase from Alex Evenings. It is not matronly or frumpy, actually quite flattering especially if you have a smaller bodice and hips for days 🙂 flattering a line for all body types. You can add a belt to the grey one for added shaping. I like the dress but considering a different colour. The grey glitter dress leaves glitters EVERYWHERE – not a deal breaker if you don’t mind leaving some angel dust. I think I will just get a different colour but excellent purchase. Also, the size 10 petite was too big for me! Awww… Alex Evenings, you flatter a girl. Down to size 8 petite then.

Review: Even with a built in bra, which usually never fit me properly. Very happy with my purchase! I wear 38DD cup, so not easy to fit. I can also wear my bra and I definitely need to!
