Title: Perfect texture and color
Review: I purchased the pink chiffon and I seldom buy anything that says pink because I prefer nudes and browns, but this is like a combination and very flattering . This is my second Laura Mercier lipstick and I’m hooked. It’s matte, but it goes on smoothly and it feels like a cream, that is lasting. Highly recommend.

Title: Brown shade takes me back
Review: This is a smooth, rich lipstick. I got the brownish shade that takes me back to my youth. In the 1990’s brown lipstick was all the rage and this fits the bill perfectly. It is your average lipstick in that frequent application shall be required. It is not long lasting but it feels nice on the lips (not drying) which I sincerely appreciate. The packing feels luxurious with a magnet click when the lid is returned to the base. I like that this will prevent the cap from coming off in my purse or pocket. Well thought out and nicely made lipstick. Now I want to buy it in more shades.

Title: Good traditional lipstick formula and lux packaging
Review: This is a prestige brand so it’s more expensive than I typically go for in my makeup, but the difference definitely shows. The formula is nice and smooth, doesn’t dry out the lips more than normal lipstick does. This is not budgeproof though and will need consistent reapplication. I think that is just the trade-off with having a more hydrating formula so I think that is fine. The shade brown suede is a very 90s looking lip (though I wasn’t around then so this isn’t from memory or experience, just photos) that would be either a great darker lip on ligher skin tones like me or a natural looking nude on deeper skin tones. The lipstick tube is very pretty and feels nice and heavy, with a magnetic closing mechanism. I like the feel of it a lot and it matches my expectations for prestige products.

Title: Creamy texture
Review: I was really interested in trying a Laura Mercier product, I always hear the name so when I had the chance to review this I jumped! The texture is super creamy and it applies like butter, I loved that. I should have gone with a slightly warmer color, I got something that actually reminded me of when girls wore concealer on their lips. It will blend with another shade just fine though, maybe a few dots of a liquid lipstick. The pigment is great, near full coverage.
