Title: Works well and camouflages greys too
Review: I have a ton of grey (probably about 70%), and not very thick hair. I dye my hair usually with a mix of 3N and 4N hair dye (ie. very dark brown). I ordered the “ash brown” color and I’m quite pleased with it! You can see in my attached photo (the before is on the left, if that needs clarification….) that just dabbing on a little bit really helped conceal all the thin spots. I didn’t try to completely cover up all of my skin that was showing, as I think that would look super unnatural, but I just covered enough so it doesn’t draw as much attention. I thought it was a success!I’ve also used this when wearing my hair down, the last week before I dye it each month I have a lot of grey roots showing. I use an eyeshadow brush (not included) to apply it to my root line (being careful not to apply it to my scalp where my hair part is), and it really helps camouflages the greys. It does NOT completely hide them, but it definitely helps blend them.This is a very matte product and you do want to use it sparingly for the best result. When I wear my hair up, I apply it all along my hairline, not just on the thin parts, so there’s not just random matte splotches, it all just blends together better. And it lasts until I was my hair (48 hours later). Very pleased with it and would recommend!

Title: My favorite way to deal with hair loss
Review: First things first: hair loss is awful and there really isn’t any perfect solution but this one is pretty darn good.I dearly miss being able to spring out of bed, brush my hair, toss it in a pony and go, not giving my hair a second throughout the day. But that ship has sailed. I’ve been dealing with hair loss for about 5 years, I lose about a third to half of my hair and then it starts growing back and then it falls out again. During the worst periods this would not work for me, it’s either a hat or a topper wig. But, when it’s starting to grow back in, it’s sparse but with new baby hairs, this is a miracle. I hate wearing toppers, they’re hot and give me headaches and unfortunately I’m not someone who looks good in hats. But this stuff is the closest I think I’ll get back to those glorious carefree days.I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I’m delighted with it. I found a recommendation from the company that is absolutely key, you have to set it with hair spray. Once it’s set it hasn’t budged from sweat or rubbed off on my pillowcase, clothes, hands, etc. I don’t wash my hair every day and this has been going the 3 days between washes no problem.

Title: Medium Neutral Brown Hair – Purchased Med. Brown and Ash Brown
Review: I have Medium Neutral Brown almost Medium Ash Hair – I am a level 5.I purchased Ash brown first and Medium Brown Second. They both work for me, but the ash brown is definitely a shade darker and gets more dark on the scalp as my oily skin sets in.I prefer the Medium brown as the color matches best. But the ash brown seems to cover better. So you decide. I am going to keep them both and use them according to my hair style and needs.The powder does absorb oil and give you a sort of – dry shampoo effect! The effect gives a touch of volume. But just like dry shampoo, it will leave your roots matte. So, you could try a shine spray afterwards perhaps. I haven’t tried it yet because it doesnt bother me. But don’t be surprised it’s the nature of putting a powder on hair.I like this product, I am glad I tried it, and force myself using these all the time and buying refills.I am knocking 1 star off not because of the products effectiveness, but because I think it’s expensive for being a powder and the size.

Title: Repurchase because it works for me!
Review: Love this for my touch ups and in between retouch appointments. Product is similar consistency to eyeshadow powder, Match your color to your natural at roots. This helps to cover and diminish the harsh contrast of any stray grays. Put it on your scalp close to your hairline or wherever you would like to blend your color. If you are thinning, this also helps cover the appearance and make your hair look fuller. My stylist says it’s a good color match and does look natural. It washes off easily with shampooing and I apply whenever I feel the need. Application is topical so I did not have any concerns.

Review: I’ve been using a powder to disguise my bald spots for 10 yrs. While it worked it was very messy. The powder flew all over.This balding disguise, BOLDIFY, came with a little powder applicator. The powder is is in a solid cake form in a round receptacle. It goes on easily and does not spread everywhere. I chose the smallest one available (0.14 ounce) until I tried it out. If it continues to hold up as it has after the first use I will repurchase in a larger quantity.I use the dark brown. I’m 73.

Title: Better than I expected !!
Review: I was skeptical at first, but Iâm so glad that I purchased this. I finally cut my hair short after losing so much hair and thinning.. I have a lot of spots where you can see the hair thinning , but this has covered it all. I bought the dark brown, and I put it at the roots. Iâve been so self-conscious for years using this product is helping me so much.

Title: I think my first judgment was too harsh
Review: This is an amendment to my first review.I am using this product.I judged the color too harshly. When not on my regular dye job, Itâs not an auburn. On grey or thin areas IS a medium brown.The rest of the review is pretty accurate.I am using it and itâs worth using if your hairline is thin.I ordered medium brown. It does color.I spray with got to be glued hair spray to keep it on. If you rub that area it will be a small amount on your fingers so donât rub or scratch. The medium brown is a medium auburn.Not a true brown. Iâm not sure what color to get now since medium brown is what Iâve used with other products (not this brand)I no longer want to use a spray so I may try this brand again in a different color. Iâm not sure.As for cover. It does pretty well. Much of it will rub off if you rub or scratch. If you donât wash your hair every day you will need to reapply in the morning , at least in my experience.I try to not take off stars for things like color but I am disappointed since this stuff isn’t inexpensive . They need better color references.

Review: I’ve just received this product and love it. Apart from the fact it’s talc free, it covers the grey around my temples really easily and blends in well. It has a sponge to help with the application which also works well, there’s no mess and it saves times. I think it’s the best root cover powder I’ve used so far.
