Title: Loved!
Review: First time using box hair dye and worked exactly as it was suppose to. To be fair, the salon had put in a very similar color, but the top of my heads hair had grown out and the dye blended well with the old color while covering the new growth.

Title: Works As Intended
Review: Easy to follow instructions. Great coverage. Hair was soft and shinny after conditioning. The color was much more red than the lovely wine/burgundy tones showed, and I have dark, dark hair, not once did I think it would lighten my color as much. Would try again with another color and would go way darker the next time. No one has said anything about it, so it must look fairly natural.

Title: Impressed! Color exactly as expected, hair feels good
Review: I admit I haven’t used this brand before but will look for it again, the coverage and color were even better than expected. I’ve been using different products to enhance the red in my darker brown hair, it’s ended up a faded reddish medium brown, a rather nondescript color, haven’t been happy with it for awhile. I just wanted something to cover my roots and add a little oomph back without a harsh look and this fit the bill! I was so worried it would be orangey, the dye itself looked orange while processing but after following the directions exactly and washing 3x afterwards it turned out a lovely reddish brown. It’s also a soft enough color that it does NOT look like I just dyed it. You know the look, the harsh, sharp color around your hairline that takes several washes or a week or two of growth to look natural? Not this! The dye doesnt have a terrible smell either, I’m not sure if there’s ammonia in it or what but it’s not bothering me like some dyes do (watery eyes, stuffy nose, headache etc). My greys look well covered and my hair feels pretty soft after. I didn’t use the conditioner either. My heavy hair usually looks a bit limp for a week or two after dying but not too badly after this brand. Highly recommend, will order again!

Title: Slightly darker red color, but super pretty
Review: I don’t use boxed hair dyes very often, but I’m sick of splurging on pro upkeep, but this Schwarzkopf Keratin Color Permanent Hair Color in the shade Rich Bordeaux was screaming my name. This set comes with everything you need to apply, including gloves. The instructions are easy to read and understand, so mixing the color together was a breeze. Be sure to note that you will need more than one kit if you have longer or thicker hair. I ended up needing two. This hair dye is not ammonia free, so make sure that you’re in a well ventilated area as this smells fairly strong. The consistency of this dye is smooth enough to thoroughly coat your hair with no patchiness (as long as you have the appropriate amount for your hair!). I felt I got a good enough color deposit after 40 minutes of letting it sit on my medium/dark brown hair. This is a very vivid, deep red color, but it is slightly darker in real life. The red color is visible in low light and outside, though! I had no streaks of color or patches of odd color. This does stain and does take a while to rinse out, so make sure you treat any stains right away and use vaseline around your hairline! This added shine to my hair, and is such a pretty fall red color.

Title: Easy installation
Review: This is an easy to apply dye kit. Turns out the auburn isn’t as vibrant as expected and more of a copper hue. I don’t like that the kit doesn’t come with any extra moisturizers, just a basic and very standard looking hair kit.
