Title: Not a blush brush
Review: The brush is 6 inches long and has a flat brush. This brush is a very old concealer/foundation brush…. Has been discontinued in the states for a long time

Title: Works very well for blush application. Soft bristles. No shedding.
Review: This Clinique Blush Brush comes in a plastic sleeve. The brush was made in China. Upon removing the brush from the plastic sleeve there was a chemical odor in the bristles. The smell reminded me of a cleaning product. I aired out the brush for a few days and the odor has mostly disappeared. The full length of this brush is 7”. The bristles are approximately 1.5” long and the bristle head is approximately 1.5” wide in its widest point. The handle is made of clear plastic. The bristles are very soft. The shape of the bristle head and the softness of the bristles work great for applying blush and for blending. I have been using this brush for a few weeks now and I have washed it several times, and there has been no shedding of the bristles.

Title: Just all round nice brush
Review: You won’t be disappointed, it is a very nice quality and the feel of the bristles. A little bit lighter weight than I had expected, but still does the job

Title: Very nice, soft, dense bristles. Appears to be natural bristle, not synthetic.
Review: * Overall Impression:-This is a very nice, excellent quality, soft, densely bristled blush brush that also works well for highlighter, contour, bronzer or under-eye setting powder.-Note that the listing doesn’t clearly specify if the bristles are natural or synthetic. I believe they are natural and not synthetic bristles as I’ll explain below.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Excellent quality on the style, materials, bristles and construction.-Good shape, size, density for the intended primary use, blush. It gives a good, light but build-able application and isn’t too large in the size. It’s easy to use and work with, even on smaller faces.-Very soft, dense bristles in a tapered shape.-The bristles appear to be natural not synthetic and good quality bristles.-Doesn’t over-apply, or pick up too much product. Allows for a light or build-able application.-Clear Lucite plastic handle with the Clinique logo printed on it.-Sturdy silver toned aluminum brush ferrule.-Full sized brush, not a mini or travel sized.-Has a good feel in the hand and during use.-Works well for: blush, contour, highlighter, bronzer, under eye setting powder.-Doesn’t shed. (a little shedding occasionally is normal, but this one didn’t shed).-No odor of any kind to the brush, even the likely natural bristles.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-It doesn’t come with a brush case or brush protector, you’ll need to provide your own. It just comes wrapped in plastic vs in a single brush case or protector.-The listing doesn’t clearly specify if the bristles are synthetic or natural. They appear to be natural and not synthetic.-No usage guide is provided or included.* Tips & Thoughts:-It was a little difficult at first to figure out if the brush had natural or synthetic bristles as the listing and the brand site didn’t really make it clear. I have, use and love a lot of natural (as well as synthetic) brushes and it was pretty clear on the way it performed (in that special, light coverage almost self blending way only natural bristle brushes do) it was natural by the look, feel and performance of it. I did find on another site wile trying to confirm this that someone answered a question and the brand confirmed it was natural vs synthetic. I’d assume it is natural vs synthetic even though they didn’t say in this listing clearly.-It’s a good size and shape not only for blush but for under-eye setting powder, bronzer, highlighter or contour, especially on the cheeks.-Be extra gentle when washing this brush or any brush, especially with natural bristles. I like to use a gentle face wash (usually Cerave Foaming Face Wash), and be sure to tilt the brush bristles downward during washing so no water gets into the brush ferrule. Then lay it on a towel to dry. I lay a clean towel on a clean plate, then after about 15 minutes remove the towel and let it air dry flat on a clean plate.-Being that it is natural vs synthetic, I would not use it (or any natural bristled brush) with cream or liquid products, but only powder products. Natural bristles soak up and don’t perform as well as synthetic bristles on cream and liquids and you don’t want to have to over clean them, with liquids and creams they require a lot more cleaning and it wears a natural bristle brush out quicker as a synthetic brush will tolerate more cleaning than a natural brush.-Don’t expect this or any natural bristled brush to pick up as much or lay on product on as heavily as a synthetic brush. This is the reason I generally prefer natural brushes, you can use a very pigmented product that’s difficult to apply lightly with a synthetic brush. If you’re used to synthetic bristles, you may be a little surprised or frustrated that this (and other natural brushes) don’t apply as much in one swipe. Even though I use mostly (for powdered products) natural bristled brushes, this one goes lighter on application than even many others I use. I had to touch it to my blush (average pigmented, not highly pigmented) a few times more than other brushes, even natural bristled. This allows you to build the coverage slowly, precisely and it blends almost into itself effortlessly, you won’t likely have to blend much with this brush.-If you like Trish McEvoy natural bristle brushes, with similar clear Lucite handles, this one performs very similarly and is similar in the quality, feel and performance of those brushes. It’s not a dupe for her blush brush, as the shape is different and her blush brush is goat (which I love). It coordinates very well with her brushes and if you like those, you’ll like this one too.-Note that the Clinique brand logo is printed on the handle. The use, style and brush type or number is not printed on it.
