Is miss USA going to appoint Alejandra Gonzalez as the 2020 miss USA?
Though I have competed in pageants in the past and even won a couple of local pageants, I am now in a brand new pageant for women 50 to 79 years old. My title is appointed but I treat my title as if I competed and won. I can't imagine doing it any other way. I will be competing in their national pageant in November. I'm going in to win so I will present myself as a worthy title holder by treating my appointed title with respect.
Interesting note… Miss World USA 2010 was also appointed to the title and went on to win Miss World 2010 (Note she also only finished High School earlier that year)…
This would be the year we'll see a lot of appointed candidates with incredible Zoom skills
I am an appointed title holder and I have over 60 appearances! I love helping my community and spreading the word out about my system! I am a Mrs. title holder and have competed before and won so to me it's just as important. The system I'm in right now has mostly appointed title holders but holds a national competition.

I do have a question, I hear some say youj must do your own hair and make-up. Yet when televised, you see Chi Staff doing a contestants hair and making their faceups.

Idk about the Philippines actually because Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe Philippines have rescheduled their schedule for the coronation night, and they are not releasing any statements whether they will appoint someone as the PH representative.
Idk actually, but I don't think appointing queens will be the solution that the Philippines will use. Miss Philippines Earth recently announced that they will have their pageant, most likely it would be a virtual show. For BBP and MUPh, gonna wait for that.

Hi @DaniWalker! I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering if you'd do a video about possible alternate ways to do a pageant during this quarantine. My local pageant in CA is postponed until August but I have a feeling the state won't be ready for public gatherings by then. Do you think one could be done by Zoom or video submission?
As I know Olivia Jordan was appointed as Miss World United States and competed in Miss World 2013, She is Miss USA 2015.😊

I don't understand why some people see this appointed titles as "not so worthy" compared to ordinary titles, I mean…
Girls still have to work! Yes, they might have the qualities that their particular system requires but it doesn't guarantee that they'll win the next level.. idk, I think that titles represent the same opportunity for all of us, what we do with it, it's on us :).
Starting in pageants is it best to do appointed or in person or maybe even both? Also do you recommend coaching? 🙂

This was so helpful! I won the last local before they shut everything down for COVID-19. Everybody else that was supposed to compete after that had to be appointed titleholders. Since I'm new, I had no idea what that meant so thank you!!
