Gratitude doesn’t begin to explain the feelings I’ve had over the past few days at #MissWorldCanada. With the current state in which our society is in, the ever-changing globalized environments, and how our families and friends are affected in these times, I am honoured to be a Canadian woman.

Although I did not win or place as high as I expected to, there’s a weird way of things happening in our world, from the people you connect with to the signs you’re given that you may not even realize are signs. I said from the beginning “uncomfortable is the new comfortable” and “everything happens for a reason”. I can confidently say that my time has been nothing but filled with smiles, self-discovery and self-acceptance because I was truly me.. I am truly an embodiment of a modern woman and I’m excited about my next life lesson and take life as it comes my way.
