Just a side note. The PH MU candidate is perceived to be politically opinionated against the present dispensation thus polarized local support for her candidacy. The yellow dress and swimwear raised many eyebrows on the other side of the spectrum.
I'm from the Philippines and some of us also thought that out of the top 5 Peru or India will be the winner for they are better than how the others answered the questions. I didn't see the outcome that Mexico will be the winner because I think, just in my opinion, she didn't express well what she would want to say, she's hesitating what to say and she looks nervous while answering the question during the q and a . Idk why but I find the question for Ms. Mexico easy(actually the questions aren't that hard to answer for me) but I think she couldn't express well what she wanted to say and maybe that's the reason why during their final statement she used her own language.
We've been hearing issues that the 69th Miss Universe had been cooked. They said that the judges favored Latinas because maybe I think that they said that also most of the judges are Latinas. Maybe I think the top 5 are all Latinas except for India. We've been also hearing that the 69th MU coronation is biased on Latinas like; most judges are Latinas, the top 10 until top 5 candidates are most Latinas, the special performances are Latin, we've been hearing like that.
They've been also wondering like how come those countries that mostly won aren't included like they've also said that there are other countries that deserve more or could've done better during the q and a.
They've also said that during the preliminaries the score makes sense but how come some other countries that did really well during the preliminaries aren't even included in top 10 or even some on top 21???

LOL we all know that Miss Peru or Miss India deserve the crown but Miss Mexico win…
although I am not satisfied with the answer of ms. mexico but let us respect the decision of the judges guy let us not bitter about the result.
