my absolute favorite movie as a kid. when i was a kid i thought it was a magical movie about dreams. now as an adult it's a movie about growing up and creating your own family. there was a lot more psychology in this movie than i originally thought too

The storyline of Ruby as nurse who got arrested for med error was unrealistic. She would not have likely gotten arrested. But she quite possibly could've lost her license for not following proper med pass protocol.

A beautiful movie about the amazing tenacity to follow a dream then realize "I could be a role model to many little girls or a role model to one. I loved this movie so much. I have to say the song that Minnie driver sang I don't know if it was her voice but I was mesmerized by the gorgeous vocal.

That kids gonna have alot of issues being manipulated by her mother(the one that raised her) and then not being able to trust/love her new mother… that's been shown to be super selfish as a person.. I mean she gave her kid to her friend to raise. Great movie!!(sarcasm)
Cute movie… not realistic. If the mom was taken the kid would've been put into protective custody. Even if she's the real mom. Plot hole: did she sign away her rights.

I didn't know that Sally Fields was a director. She has been some great movies. My favorite movie is Places in the heart. She was so strong after her husband is accidently killed. Trying to hold onto her children.
