I just got accepted into this Miss. Pennsylvania pageant today and I'm trying to decide whether I wanna do it or not, and I'm completely excited to just be accepted and I'm OBSESSED with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and I've seen Hannah Brown's entire Bachelorette season when it aired so, I feel super super super honored to even be considered even if I don't end up doing it so, this video is very helpful

I remember my first pageant as I had school the next morning after. I so was exhausted I fell asleep in my first period and my teacher attend the pageant and allowed for me to sleep

Gurl…. you are reminding me of when I was in the same pageant but I was a teen and it was in Louisiana. I had no idea what I was doing and I was not from a wealthy family so we were budgeting getting things. I remember sitting between two girls having their hair professionally done while my mom was trying to curl my hair herself. I wasn’t able to raise the sponsorship money either. It’s so much harder than they make it seem. But everything you said brought back memories. So now I’m sitting here having a nostalgia flashback. I’ll never forget the things that pageant taught me, like how to shake hands without looking at the hand and how to stand with “pageant feet pose”

What do you win when you become Miss USA? I heard you get a salary but what is $1000 a month? Is there a prize money ? Or do Miss USA just volunteer, interview, and living in the New York apartment
