  1. Wow the details of the rehearsals my dear are so vivid…i love how comprehensive this talk is…i should have subscribed to your channel much earlier but anyhow im here now. Tahnk you.

  2. I graduated from Broadcasting Electronic Media, and I know how it feels to work in a production team. I used worked in red carpet and award shows.
Being in a production team is stressful b/c everything is a time constraint, especially if it is a live show. Commercial breaks is the only time when the production team goes over plans/gets into positions
I experienced not seeing the stage, having no clue where to go in a huge venue, not reveal any secrets on social media, and getting yelled at by the directiors, and other employees in crew.
It is a good experience.I made so many connections. Some were cool others were not.

  3. I had no idea how rehearsals went, very interesting info, and thanks for sharing 🙂 I'm just a regular girl from Paris (France) who's always been a huge pageants fan 🙂

  4. I remember at Miss Universe 2018 Sthefany (Venezuela) took so much airtime that Catriona (Philippines) had to walk slowly during the Swimsuit and Evening Gown competitions to get some airtime for herself.

  5. I'd like to know how you'd recommend preparing for interviews. What do you wish you had known; what kinds of questions were you asked; what was the most difficult question to answer?

  6. This is surprising! I had no idea you have a house mom and have multiple events to attend before the pageant. There's a lot of production aspects that I didn't realize either, especially for cameras, angles, & timing

  7. I’ve always wondered if each contestant is given a certain amount of space as a dressing room, or if there’s just a general area for wardrobe changes, makeup and hair, etc that everyone is expected to share.

Also, are you allowed to hire your own hair and makeup artists, and if so, is there a limit to how many people you can have backstage with you? If you cannot hire your own…does the pageant provide a team of stylists and other beauty people who are there to simply oversee and assist the contestants if needed?

Do all the contestants arrive at the venue for the actual telecast with hair and makeup already done, doing touch ups and changes only at the venue?

Lastly…what was the worst shade you can recall seeing backstage during the show or else where during the rehearsals, etc.? Have you ever seen a contestant deliberately do something to another girl that seemed extraordinarily out of line and mean spirited?

Don’t give me that ‘all the girls a sooo nice…and we all get along so great…’ story. I’ve already heard that too many times on the show over the years…lol. 😉

There’s a few bad apples in every bunch. Go on and pour the tea, Sistah….😏

  8. Surprised! 😮 Wow I didn’t realize all the components that have to happen for such a phenomenal production. Miss Universe and Miss USA are like gold standards. I mean, that’s why Miss Universe beats all the other International pageants as the best of the best – because their production and management is the best. I watched various other pageants and was disappointed because they were lacking in many components important to a solid live production. (It’s so awkward watching hosts ‘buy time’ with irrelevant conversation 😬 That never happens at Miss USA because like you said, they really make timing an important aspect). What I didn’t know was the whole deal with camera angles and walking speed 😱 There are so many things for contestants to think about. I’ll definitely appreciate the fact that you ladies make it look so natural, a whole lot better.

  9. Hey I’ve been browsing your channel for help with an upcoming pageant and I would LOVE to see a video about stoning your own dresses! I’m really interested in doing this to make my dress pop on stage a little more but don’t know where to start or even where to buy the stones other than Michael’s 😂 Even if it’s not before my pageant I think it would be a great video!

  10. Dani !! Your content is amazing. I would love to see more behind the scenes so when someone like me goes to compete, I’ll be ready. Plus I never knew it was that crazy! I assumed girls got so much more stage time!

  11. Surprised! Thanks for sharing so much information. I have a question in regards to rehearsals and wardrobe. I know you did a video a while back on this topic but it focused more on NAM. I would love maybe a turn-on haul or just a video on ideas for what to wear for rehearsals at a Miss pageant.

  12. I appreciate you. Future beauty queens can find this video very helpful. You're kind hearted and beautiful. Don't ever change. With love from Los Angeles. 😘🌹🙏🏽👸🏽🇺🇸
