  1. Well I believe that we'll make AT LEAST top 5 in January! If we can make it to the top 3, we can win it! A democrat is president elect, and the last 3 times that the USA made it to the top 3, a Democrat was President:

    2012: Olivia Culpo won MU

    2014: Nia Sanchez finished 1RU

    2015: Olivia Jordan was 2RU

Barack Obama was President in that span

Last 5 times USA won Miss Universe, a Democrat was in Office

1967: Sylvia Hitchcock (LBJ was President)

1980: Shawn Weatherly (Jimmy Carter was President)

1995: Chelsi Smith(Bill Clinton was President)

1997: Brook Lee(Bill Clinton was President)

2012: Olivia Culpo(Barack Obama was President)

2020: Asya Branch(Joe Biden is President Elect) this is a good sign for the USA at Miss Universe 2020

  2. Like many people, I still don’t understand why NY didn’t make top 5. What a robbery! She looks so confident and her walk is so powerful. She was miles ahead of the other finalists, especially Indiana and Alabama that made top 5. Such a confusing result because NY had what it takes to WIN Miss Universe!
There is a theory that Alabama and Indiana made it because the judges (or MUO) wanted a certain girl to win. NY would’ve slayed the top 5 interview round because she is a public speaker. They purposely left her out to make room for distractors – IN and AL so the judges can focus on one girl to win. It is so sad because NY is so much more deserving of the title than the other contestants and EVEN the recent Miss USA winners – 2016-2019. It is such a shame that the results came out this way this year. Even beautiful New Jersey and Hawaii didn’t make it even though they stood out and did well compared to Indiana and Alabama.
Very confusing and frustrating results coming from a pageant fan of more than 20 years!!
