This experience gave me a unique view into what our first responders have been dealing with for the past year and a half â and I hope that this brings a new perspective to you as well. What is shown on the news barely scratches the surface of whatâs truly been happening. This episode is dedicated to who has served on the front lines – you are the real heroes. Thank you.
That shocked me even when I know I'm going into this career as a police officer
They give everyone love when they come out with anger they are literally angels in disguise
I love your support in sharing the truth of first responders that are shunned for what they do thank you from my heart â€
Good'ol Highlands Ranch area. Great job Michelle!!
I went through this recently as a student nurse in the ER. we had a patient come in and i did compressions but we lost her. it was a lot harder on me than i thought it would be. That scene with the mannequin at the hospital hit home for me
Grey's who? Great video, great series
The first thing youâre taught about checking a pulse manually is NEVER âcount for 15 seconds and times it by 4â. That may give you an estimated average but not an accurate heart rate. As a cardiology nurse đ« that part made me cringe but everything else was A +++ âïž
That dummy looks like Brian laundrie
I'm a danish nurse and have been in the Emergency department. This video touch me and left me in tears. Thank u for making this video <3
This is soooo interesting
Loved this video. The paramedics saved my loved oneâs life during a heart attack. Thank you all for what you do! â€ïž
haha. 'voluntold'
Super interesting stuff. Perhaps it will inspire some people to work in this field!
Hey Michelle I work in an autopsy as a morphology tech and Iâd love to see you take on the challenge of autopsy! A lot of what we do is similar to this but for the dead and often we have to remove all of that medical intervention. We also get a whole lot of Covid patients, MVAâs, ODs, suicides, homicides, etc and act as nurses for the decedents basically. My state is super unique because we are the only facility in all of NM that takes all the bodies around the state there is no other facility we are also the only place called the office of the medical investigator (instead of examiner) and we have students employed as morph techs (like myself).
Paramedics saved my life. So much respect and gratitude for paramedics. đ
I want to be a paramedic when I am older so this is great
To be a paramedic do you have to be a firefighter?
pretty crazy scenario they put you through! good video! that station looks like they are very progressive with teaching the public! scenario was almost the real thing
You did great Michelle good hustling
This woman is the definition of if the crown fits wear it
The crown definitely fits you, Michelle đ
genuinely wish i could have watched you as a little girl. Canât wait to put this on for my future daughters so they can have a badass woman role model
I literally cried for a dummy dying…
I gotta stop watching this videos
as a nurse, seeing an ER that empty with that many available staff is amazing…it's nice to see đ„ș hopefully this helps people understand what first responders do cause they're fvcking rockstarsđđŒ
thank you
For the Vehicle Rescue you shouldâve used the Helmet you got from the Fire Academy Video
I kinda wanna see her do what it takes to be a nurse, whether it's labor and delivery or something similar to this.
As a former EMT, and current medical student during this time of global sickness, this was very close to my heart. THanks for making this!
My instructor has an easy way yo remember how to place thr leads… clouds(white) over grass(green) and smoke(black) over fire(red). Oh I miss those first days of training.
One question… Why are you not wearing a seat belt? This is typical American cowboy behavior we Europeans find absolutely ridiculous. Seems like "safety first" is a joke to you. Haha saftey… What does the department say if you collide and you did not wear a seatbelt, were thrown around in the rig and injured, worst case killing both you and the patient? God damn cowboys.. haha
Props to them all but also shout out to the guy who was voluntold to do the last one
I'm confused, are they firefighters or paramedics?
This looks intense so much respect for front line workers đ
Train for a circus
I love this series of yours! This is a brilliant way to experience a taste of each profession and gives me great respect for those who serve us!!! Thank you for making these videos and thank you to all who are in service to our communities
I'm not usually one to comment on any kind of videos I watch on YouTube, but my god, my heart is still racing a bit. I've watched all your other videos and granted, the FBI training, the fire fighter training and all the others were very eye-opening and crazy but this one really got to me. The mixture between real footage and the 'fake' scenarios you've dealt with were amazing. I really got chocked up a couple of times and have even more respect and gratitude towards everyone who is brave and strong enough to work for our health. Nobody forced them to be this kind and calming and choose a job that might save our lives one day. Thanks to everyone in the medical field. You are our heroes. Always.
