Miss Universe… stand against sexism… okay, whatever. Insanity.
Yes it's all about education. These boys need to be taught manners and how to not be disgraceful people. Boys with poor behavior like this is much too prevalent all around Australia. It is such a big pity. It's a good thing that the school names were mentioned in this video, hopefully they act and start change in their own school and in others. It will be a positive thing to see. Females should not have to deal with this throughout their schooling experience or beyond, when they are developing, trying to learn and working, just because there has been a lack of education for men around how to be a person of decency. Men young and old need to find other ways of bonding with each other other than discussing women.
They are teenage boys! There is no chance of changing them. She is simply virtue signalling.
Cross the line between beauty and gratuitous self admiration and then whinge ? wtf
this comment section is vulgar , done with these guys srsly man
This really needed to be addressed, it's ridiculous the amount of sexism that comes out of some students in these selective schools. Its really time for some change. I mean if this behaviour is the same that it was ten years ago, its clearly a signal that its time for some change.
Women also do the same thing just discreetly. Just look at social media you will see a lot of examples. Nowadays I just laugh at these type of women trying to preach their bullshit morality when they are also like that themselves.
Fishing for attention..
How does one get ‘accidentally’ added into a boys group chat.
This was an important issue. As a boy who has grown up in Melbourne and has been part of the selective school environment it’s easy to dismiss this as simple a case of boys will be boys. But it’s not, as somone who has seen those group chats and seen the effects it has on women, I can stand up and say it’s important that Maria has voiced these concerns. It’s not only about this one group chat but the misogyny and the dysmorphia that women face due to the nature of toxic masculinity . I think people who think this is a call for attention need to look in the mirror and really think hard and long. This is not a call for attention it is a call to action. It doesn’t matter that women may or may not do the same thing. What matters is, the fact that it hasn’t caused huge gender disparity and mass depression in men but it has in women. We have to understand and accept that this was a mistake and that we will work towards fixing it. Not defending the problem by saying girls do the same thing. People need to grow up.
Lmao she acts like women's chats aren't the same about men.
bro we just chilling, 90% of us don't even talk to girls at meblourne high school :moyai: I mean yeah go for it, call the school but you don't have to blame the entire school culture and stuff like… that's just slander bro calm down
Anything to get more Instagram followers …
I bet she asked the schools to ban puberty in males
LOL. Is this what you think people care about Channel 7, when you're not spreading pointless panic and fear about 'COVID' it's lecturing men about how 'sexist' we are, take a hike already.
Two sides to the coin, the young kids are simply horsing around and acknowledging that she is a hottie but didn't really think about the forum used.
To my mind this is no different from how girls talk about guys so the problem with this is only the forum used.
It sounds more like a plastic bubble mentality except that the forum used was public but where is the homophobic/trans thing coming from?
this worlds cunted
The archetypal Masandrist.
Most beautiful are the lowkey ones 🤭
1:40 its always about the females and trans aye.
"NOOO! Teenage boys can't just stay stuff on a public forum about ym very public actions and career!"
"Look at me, I get paid as a doctor to strut around in udnerwear. Im strong and empowered, im an authority on anything" No one cares girl.
This really is honouring the work if u know what i mean 😆.
Lol has she seen some women chats they are worse
When man needs verjyna…make sure you have intelligent conversation before you give it up….see how long your relationship lasts.
Wowsers ….I'm in awe of her intellegence not her walking down the runway in her red undies.
Racist, sexism, discrimination, ethnic, are all the same to you.
What do you expect? This is the bogan culture, and they think that they owned all the women in Australia.
Too much leftism and not enough righteousness!!!
I'm not disregarding the fact that she wasn't treated respectfully, but does she have to get the whole school involved? I go to Melbourne High, and there is no such tolerance to sexism. I don't like how she was verbally abused, but I also hate that she is getting innocent people involved and ruining the schools good reputation.
Just because you didn't appreciate some comments being said in a group chat, you should have just left the chat or blocked them like a normal person, doesn't give you the ok to vilify men and a sexual gaze Ms. Universe.
She hasn't already sold herself?
So she was added to a boys chat? I wonder what we would find on the girls chat about men and other women
Whings about sexism, works in a industry centred around sexism
She forgot the race card…she's Indian and thinks she's white.
How did this make news? Who made the call to 7 news?. When she pulls in a complete different demographic….transgender & non-binary was the icing on the cake! This is all utter BS! These type of non stories really boils my piss 😡
He thats a painting talking!
