Cheslie Corrinne Kryst born on April 28, 1991 and died on January 30, 2022 was an American television presenter, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 2019. As Miss USA, she represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2019 competition and finished in the top ten. Outside of pageantry, Kryst was a licensed attorney and had served as a correspondent for Extra from October 2019 until her death. For her work on Extra, she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards
With her win, 2019 became the first year that all four major United States-based pageants were won by women with African ancestry; other titleholders were Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa (as Miss Universe 2019), Nia Franklin (as Miss America 2019), and Kaliegh Garris (as Miss Teen USA 2019).Previously, she had been crowned Miss North Carolina USA 2019, becoming the third woman from North Carolina to win Miss USA.
Kryst was born on April 28, 1991, in Jackson, Michigan, to a Polish American father and an African American mother. She had four brothers, Asa, Chandler, Jet, and Brooklyn, and a sister, Page. Her mother, April Simpkins, competed in pageantry and was crowned Mrs. North Carolina US when Kryst was a child. The family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and later settled in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where Kryst attended Northwestern High School. The family later moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina and Kryst transferred to Fort Mill High School, graduating in 2009; both cities are suburbs in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
After graduating from high school, Kryst moved to Columbia, South Carolina to attend the Honors College at the University of South Carolina. She graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business with a degree in marketing and human resource management in 2013, where she was also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society, Gamecocks women’s track and field team, and mock trial.
After finishing her undergraduate degree, Kryst enrolled in Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, graduating with a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration in 2017
In 2016, Kryst competed in Miss North Carolina USA 2017, where she placed as the fourth runner-up. She returned the following year and placed in the top ten, before returning again for Miss North Carolina USA 2019, where she won the title, representing Metrolina. She was crowned by Kaaviya Sambasivam, Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2018, as the outgoing titleholder Caelynn Miller-Keyes was unable to attend the crowning due to the filming of season 23 of The Bachelor

What she is saying sadly is NOT true, she is polish & Afro-American first of all , so she is saying these criminals should be released on good behavior , it was like she really sadly has NO self esteem , everything she said to ALL about mental health she didn't take into consideration to address her own, idk if her mother got her in the wrong industry at a young age to be a beauty queen cause some people it could be destructive to them, she felt like she had to be this fit young woman that never aged for the rest of her life, her winning in 2019 I think did her wrong put more pressures on her, it's so sad 1 million people take this way out every year, it's sad, mental health just as important as physical, just as bad as cancer, if NOT treated this is sadly the outcome!!! RIP but it seemed her self esteem was low, she was put in the wrong industry for her mindset, it's so SAD!!!! Depression is NO joke , Be kind to people on the other end of the net is a normal person like all , and we don't know what thy r suffering, don't like have mean comments don't follow unsubscribe, be happy cheeer them on & support them… thy r sharing their lives with the world and don't need evil trolls saying lies horrible things to them just cause people are unhappy with themselves, it's gotta stop!! but in the industry she was in sadly was bad medicine for her!!! I'd hate to be a " pageant judge " right about now …can u imagine !? And what was chelsties problems !? How about,big she was soo successful, how about volunteering to help …children's hospitals, homeless shelters, battered women, domestics, on and on..
She couldn't turn this around, and go help someone !? With all her pageant monies !? I wouldn't want to be a pageant judge; right about now …!!
