Bohol’s answer was straight to the point kaso kulang sa energy ang aura nya at halatang kabado…Naway sumali sya ulit….Sana may closing statement sana sila like MissU 2019. Dun talaga magkaka alaman sinu ang magaling sa communication skills.

MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Q: What is your biggest insecurity & how did you address it? A: My socioeconomic status… (ibig sabihin insecure siya maging mahirap kaya nagsumikap siya to please everyone and look up to her).
MAKATI – Q: What is your greatest fear and how do you try to overcome it? A: Making a fool out of myself sometimes which I conquered to putting myself in a similar situation like joining pageants…. (so seems mukhang she's fooling everyone every time she joins pageant… and that's her greatest fear? Michelle Dee is my bet for this year's MUPh but honestly I don't really like her answer, I"m a fan of her Mom though sayang)
TAGUIG – Q: If you could teach Filipinos one thing, what would it be and why? A: Start loving yourself. (her explanation after this doesn't really connect to what she said in her first lines, she prolly rehearsed kasi halata but she was trying to get out the mess yon lang times' up na)
PASAY – Q: If you could stop time for a day, how would you spend it? A: Spend time with my family especially my Mother, it's been two years since I didn't see them… (which I was actually surprised, I was expecting her to say more of other bigger and interesting things she may say but I guess that's it, there's nothing more enough explanation we get from someone who misses their Mothers and I'd find this a stronger stance in her character, that's why she won. Sometimes we need not to be the best, we need to be natural with a heart)
BOHOL – Q: What is that one life-changing decision that you've made and what was its impact in your life? Joining MUPh again…. & so on… (Athough her answer was so nice to hear and seems touching, I feel on the other way around, that she's just making excuse and went down again the hassles explaining to everyone and justifying why she joined the second time. And was not as well too careful and sensitive enough to say that in front of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach which we all knew naman her struggle with joining 3x before being getting crowned. Sure Ms. PIa can understand her but she needs not to remind everyone that same fate could happen to both of them.)

Sorry, but my overall vote is for Miss Bohol. She has more impact and stronger charisma ang dating. Miss Pasay might have the beauty but so with Miss Bohol, pero Miss Pasay seem lacking in self confidence, shown not much energize and not much driven to want to win it. Beauty is not only the basis, it should have and include the whole package. I just hope that she will work more on her enthusiasm, energy, well driven confidence and show not much of nervousness. I guess easy for me to say but if wish it must be it. Good luck to her and she still has time to master her shortcomings. She already has the beauty, which I'm sure all the other contender will have,just work more on the brain, wits and confidence.
Aw.. I can feel Ms. Pasay is about to cry. Her voice quivers when she speaks. But she held it in with poise and answered wholeheartedly with complete honesty. Natural answer. That's the beauty of familial love. On to the next video. I wish she'll win! 😊

I thought Bohol could win this year's MUP because her answer was touchy and straight to the point. A bit disappointed, yes. But Miss Pasay got the crown, and I respect the judges decisions.

Even though Pauline Amelinckx should consider giving Miss International and Miss World a shot, I think Pauline will give Miss Universe Philippines a third try a la MJ Lastimosa and Pia Wurtzbach.
She just needs to add that wit and gusto like Pia did.
