Bohol could have won if Q and A is the only basis. Makati stood out in a FAIR amount of energy in all aspects of the competition. However, Pasay aced all categories, she may not the most standout in Q and A portion, but her charisma, over all performance and destiny took her to the crown. Still, it was a great show, our bets may not be able to clinch their desired spot but they're all equally amazing, intelligent and wonderful women. One of the complaints they have are the shallow pretty simple question so easy that they say a kindergarten can answer them.

english is not compulsary but there is a high expectation among Filipinos to speak English in an acceptable level of fluency

Bohol proves that she deserve to come and join again because the way she answer the question is very strong confident and there's something that we learn.
Love Misamis Oriental but her dress was just not as pretty 🙁

The contestants are able to speak on their native languages but we all know that the pageant standard here in the Philippines is too high that even using Filipino language or any languages can downgrade the candidate. And me personally understand that standard knowing that international stage or platform needs to face and talk to a global audience, which requires the use of English language would be advantagous.
Our Constitution recognized two official languages: Filipino and English. However , there are at least 100 local languages and dialects that are spoken throughout the archipelago.
Our laws are written in English. City and local ordinances are in English. The medium of instruction in schools is English and also the local language. Thank you.
