  1. One thing that hurt Mongo joining the Horsemen was the NWO formed the next month so The Horsemen went from being the top heel group besides the Dungeon to 2nd heel group.

  2. I claim Mongo as my all-time boy it's mango I hope he is living I know he is I believe he has ALS right I hope he's getting the right care that he he deserves from the NFL players Association

  3. Conrad is not an idiot he's obviously a financial wizard but for the love of God why does he say all of the sudden? I don't know why that irritates me but it's all of A sudden😡😡😡😡😡

  4. Love Meltzer's lambasting of Bischoff, Heenan, and Mongo. Lol. What a mark. Like McMahon, JR, and King were doing anything better at the time? There is a reason that McMahon left the announce table and JR and King started being crude and not calling the action so much as recapping storylines and pushing products. It sells. They were trying to do something different Dumbass Dave. And for a while it worked.

  5. OF COURSE ERIC was aware of that! I Recently Saw All of 1995 Monday NIGHT RAWS! BOY OH BOY ERIC, YOU COPIED WCW NITRO FORMAT, from the 1995 MN RAW SHOWS! (RAW in 1995- Had the NITRO FEEL TO THEM!) YOU ALL GO BACK WATCH THE March 1995 RAW with MONGO!

  6. I was born 3 years before the Super Bowl win so I don't remember his younger Bears run, but I do remember his later runs and his wrestling career. Mongo had a cool factor to him and some toughness that you can't fake no matter how much you try. As a wrestler he was no Shawn or Bret, but he had that look and just a swagger to him you can't match.

  7. Debra was so overrated. She looked like a 60 year old woman in the face when everybody was so obsessed with her in the WWF. Also Bobby Heenan was great but I'd take Jesse Ventura as an announcer anytime over the brain & Heenan ruined Hulk Hogan's heel turn at Bash at the Beach 96 who's side is he on?

  8. Must love Steve Mongo McMichael. I am fortunate enough to have met him twice here in Chicago, where we continue to pray for his wellness. The Super Bowl Bears will always be heroes here, and Mongo got into media work here, and was great at that as well. Yes, he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but I believe the greatness of the team, and the Bears HOF legacy, has worked against him…

  9. Am I the only 1 glad when Mongo got the win over goldberg? I wasnt a huge steve fan I just never liked goldberg. I couldn't buy into him owning the giant and Scott Norton as examples

  10. Wardlow "give me 2 minutes alone with Tony Kahn and he makes me the world champ, any other puff in the locker room spends 2 minutes with him needs to replace their chapstick". Wardlow is the real deal.

  11. The case for Mongo as an NFL HOF'er:

DT Richard Seymour was inducted in the NFL Hall of Fame on his 3rd year of eligibility. DT Steve McMichael is no longer eligible having spent many year dropping on the ballot. Now diagnosed with ALS, there is a possibility if he ever gets in, it will be posthumously. Consider the numbers

    Richard Seymour:

    12 years – 164 games played

    498 tackles – 57.5 sacks – 4 forced fumbles, 8 recoveries – 2 INT

    Steve McMichael:

    14 years – 213 games played

    847 tackles – 95 sacks – 13 forced fumbles – 17 recoveries – 2 INT

There's only 2 players with more sacks by a DT and they are both in the HOF (John Randle, Warren Sapp) McMichael also had 2 injury riddled seasons in his first 2 years, but never missed another game the next 12 years. He's not a WR either, he's a damn lineman

Seymour was a fine player and probably a great guy, but if he belongs, why does my boy Mongo get zero love from the league when he was one of the best lineman of his era?

    Thanks for your time everyone

  12. Debra McMichael and her pellet hopper – sounds like money to me. Now, you know that means one thing; Debra must like to pound in Hershey Town if she can let one slip that easy.
