To be it’s coming across that the mom thinks her daughter is fat and that’s why she’s acting that way. She loved the dress on the mannequin, but the exact same dress she hates on her daughter because it’s “too big” but I think she wanted to say her daughter was too big for it. Her mom is skinny and likes to dress a bit less reserved it seems, and she was also super in Pnina’s outfit, who is also petite. So I wonder if her real problem is that her daughter is curvy. As someone who has that experience, it’s really upsetting and Makes you feel so defeated.

I'm sick of controlling evil moms , families trying to take over wedding dress appointments an the wedding itself ! she reminds me a lot of my step mom always praising my step sister but making me feel too fat and making fun of my stomach in pictures of me at the beach with my step sister she even got my dad to favoritize my step sister over me and i just wanted my parents to see me as equal to her. she always compared me to my step sister (me and my step sister only have a couple months in age difference). my step mother would do the same smirks and would giggle at me and i know she would talk shit about me in spanish to my step sister

As a former bridal stylist, this broke my heart! What her mom did was not ok and unfortunately, I saw stuff like this a lot. I cannot agree with how this was handled. They left the bride in this dress long after she was clearly uncomfortable to make their reality tv. I would have taken her back to the dressing room as soon as I could tell she wasn’t comfortable. Have her try a couple other dresses. If it’s her dress, she won’t be able to get it out of her mind and it can reassure her that she does indeed know what she wants. That usually gave brides the power to tell their moms that this is indeed their dress.

She's 'holding up' because its probably the exact way shes been treated her whole life by that woman. Its the typical 'all about me' attitude of 'if you dont agree with me im going to dismiss you and pretend I agree with you so I can win the argument'.

The bride is beautiful. The dress is over the top and did not support the bride's breasts.
The mother needed to be specific about what she didn't like. The mother only succeeded in making herself look jealous and very cold toward her daughter. I found this episode to be ugly.
Now you know why they have been to 100 shops 😞
