  1. There is a time and place for everything. Even if they suspect that there are some irregularities with Miss TX winning Miss USA, they should have went to the org first and aired their grievances there. Venting and ranting on socmed is not the way to do this. (P.S. Miss TX is not my fave contestant, I was actually rooting for Miss Nebraska.)

All I know is that this issue is going to seriously hurt Miss USA’s chances in MU. She needs to stay focused on the competition and ignore all this. Let the Miss USA org handle this. Whether we like it or not, I want R. Bonney to give it her all in the MU stage. I actually feel bad for her. Even if her class is saying that they are not attacking her, she will still get attacked, and I hope her mental health can withstand all these.

  2. I'm still simmering on all this drama that has gone down. What concerns me about this for the girls is not only HOW they handled this situation, but the potential repercussions that they might be faced with in the future as a result of how they handled this. I am 100% a proponent of others speaking out when they have an issue with an organization. But there is a caveat to that stance. There are healthy and unhealthy ways of handling differences. Social media is a very powerful instrument, and it can serve as a double-edged sword. When you place ANYTHING on the internet, regardless of what your privacy settings are, your posts/videos are available for the entire world to see. And that crowd who's able to see what is posted includes potential future employers, who, in this case, could be watching not only what others post on social media, but see how they handle difficult situations. When you reign as a beauty queen, as these girls do, you only do so for one year. Employers these days often make it a point to check any presence you have on social media to see what your character is like despite how you may present yourself in an in-person interview. I am hoping that these girls do have success in their future endeavors after their reigns are over, but at the same time hope that the way they handled this situation with Miss USA doesn't come back in the future to haunt them.

  3. Well, as someone from El Paso, location of Laura’s productions, pageant director for New Mexico USA, I do know that someone cut Perez’s shoes when she made top 12. Pageant directors hated this year and they’re all used to watching their titleholders lose year after year.

  4. The whole time I was thinking 'Texas just sounds strategic and is consequently putting in overtime, not rigging the competition'. Sometimes people-skills and charm can help get you exactly where you need to be, with or without following all the rules. Should she be disqualified for that? Maybe, if it goes against policy. But sometimes getting ahead in life is simply a case of who dares wins.

  5. The reason why you didn't address this is because previous winners are black. If you and any of the contestant did this, y'all would be seen as racist. Now, the winner is part Asian, it doesn't matter. You know that no one will be screaming racist, racism, blah, blah, blah. White people, mainly liberals, are too scared to make a scene when the person involved is black.

  6. Dani….2 things.

That video of her on the roof was NOT shot on the host hotel. If you pay close attention, she is in a rooftop in front of the circus circus hotel.

The circus circus hotel is literally 4 miles away in downtown Reno. Nowhere near the host hotel. So how Montana was able to deduce that she was on the host hotel baffles me when she clearly wasn’t.

Also…contestants were given their opening number outfits prior to arrival.

Texas arrived to Reno a few days before official check in and made that video on her own.

Which is also why she is wearing her official Texas state sash and not the official Miss USA competition sash. Check in hadn’t happened yet.

    So….

  7. I don't understand why any of this is even a conversation when R'Bonney very clearly outperformed every single other candidate. Even if it was "rigged," no one can argue that she didn't deserve the title. This just feels very attention seeking from people who didn't even make the top 16.

  8. She won cause Filipino fans worldwide would aggressively support her and bring money to the orc. It’s a business. There were many extremely beautiful contestants but they couldn’t make the organisation any real money

  9. Montana was not a resident of montana when she won her title. She shouldn’t have been at miss usa in the first place. She cheated and should have her title revoked. How do you compete for Miss florida in July and claim to be a resident of florida/ post all your pics from florida then win Miss montana less than 2 months later. You were not a resident for 90 days

  10. People deal with their mental health issues differently – not to mince words, Miss Montana is airing these issues publicly. A mentally healthy pageant non-winner may put it out once, then move on – done! But for her to say she has nothing against the winner, yet keeps pounding on an issue is an utter lie and only makes her look nothing more than a sour loser. Sorry, but not sorry – she's the one with the problem! She needs to see a shrink and deal with her loss instead of spreading a virus of doubt and discontentment – that's the only thing viral about her rants – it solves nothing and helps no one it doesnt make her a great person most of all — go talk to the organizer face to face instead of throwing punches on air. There's only one thing that history will record —"Miss USA 2022 is Miss Texas"…. I hope there will not be any further reasons for Miss Montana to air out her issues publicly. My only advice to her is to see a therapist and move on…

  11. Personally, it sounds like the class 2022 of Miss USA are sour losers. If she deserves to win in her own merits, then why all these controversies over her win? Attention seekers perhaps? Do you think there is a chance for them to win any Miss USA title?

  12. Ask about the makeup artist Sheila Ybarra, she’s associated with pageants and her daughter was also a Miss Kemah, similar to this contestant. It’s a pageant mill in the Texas Bay Area. So much crooked drama 😝

  13. That’s Texas for you. Remember the Guy Rex scandal. Texas is a pageant mill & they go from town to town. The Kemah area is a pageant mill, then they move around. Why did she get the treatment? 💰💰💰

  14. So they chose her as the winner, so if it was rigged…are you all mad?? All pageants are rigged, they see the winner early on but without all your money and sponsors they can't just pick a winner obviously. How on earth do you really expect to be picked from just 30 seconds walk and your introduction? The top 20 are picked before the live show….Read that again.
All of you know the preliminaries are where the winner is chosen. The winner is picked before the main event…why is this a shock?

  15. Who cares, stop spreading bad vibes, she won and people need to support her. I Want her to win slap int he face for those girls who puts so much negativity.

  16. "She could have easily won on her own merit."

And that's said without malice and not gaslighting? Yeah. Right. I guess we now know why you didn't win. Blood always tells.

  17. This is the reason why i don't like the reigning Ms. USA, she will use Filipinos as strategy for her popularity, if she can't get it from USA she will get it from the Filipinos who are suckers of pageantry. And I personally hate that. If you are representing your country promote everything about that country (but that doesn't mean your disregarding your other side). Like what Catriona did, she embrasses everything about Philippines culture, food, fashion even materials are authentic Philippines. In this case with the present Ms. USA instead of promoting everything about USA she would promote Philippine culture to hook Filipinos which is I think is unfair to both country as it is being used which we both know at the end of the day that she don't give a #$%k about Philippines and will rather stay there in USA.

  18. my only concern now is that Montana is mixing up organization statements to make it look like they are releasing statements about the SA accusations to look like its about the alleged rigging of the competition. She's a law grad, she should know better

  19. Iam a Solomon Islander and been follow-up with the allegation..Miss Montana and other queens are clesrly jealous coz they're not smart enough to beat R'bonney..shame on them..Congratulations Miss Texas..You clearly the winner..End of story

  20. So the treat that she had was purchased at a Filipino store before the pageant by her incredibly thoughtful boyfriend. He brought a WHOLE BAG of Filipino treats for us (her family) and we were in the booth with her when she got to eat said treat. She was genuinely so excited about this treat because she had been on such a healthy diet for so long. And if ANYBODY knows R’bo they know she loves her snacks

  21. R'bonney's designers for state costume and evening gown are both Filipinos. She has everything planned and figured out going into Ms. USA. Kudos to you, kabayan R'Bonney!

  22. Dani, this isn't the 1st scandal at Miss USA involving Texas. Can you do a video on the Texas streak from 1985-1989? I know it's before your time. But that was quite a scandal where they were accused of improper tactics.

  23. Real talk. Ms USA Org. favored her because of the possible Filipino pageant fan base 🤷🏻‍♂️
She’s half Filipina but how strong is her connection to her Filipino roots?
    She CAN’T even SPEAK Filipino.
If someone won Ms Mexico and couldn’t even speak Spanish, Mexicans will definitely protest.
