Today we have a video about Miss Planet International 2022. Just yesterday we were talking about Herlene Budol (Hipon Girl) and her chances of Winning Miss Planet International 2022. Just a few hours later U posted that video, some Miss Planet International 2022 candidates started complaining about the pageant saying that it was a scam, a fraud and that the girls were paying everything out of pocket.
Shortly after, Wilbert Tolentino who is Herlene Budol’s manager made a public statement to say that since the beginning the situation was alarming and less than idea. Therefore he decided to Withdraw Herlene Budol from the Miss Planet International 2022 pageant and leave Uganada as soon as possible.
This is clearly a sad ending for Hipon Girl’s international pageant stint at Miss Planet International 2022 but we must think that she tried her best and this situation is out of her control.
Perhaps she will get another chance to compete internaitonally in collaboration with Binibining Pilipinas? Or maybe Herlene Budol might consider joininnh BBP again next year…

I think we have to respect Wilbert's decision. I trust that he acts for the good of Herlene and the team, in a very professional way.

This pageant blow up the truth what Uganda is capable of. Since i was still in U.S. the news of american lonely women were victimized in a different approached of scammed thru internet chat. Many of them complained to US Uganda embassy n Australia embassy that their money they send to promised they chat with in internet cheated them. So the embassies investigated what country who is using lonely women to send them money. Its the country Uganda. A mafia organization done thru cafe. It was news in US. When i knew where the pagesnt will be….Uganda…i said, "Oh no. Not good." I waited. And… now it's really happening. God make it happened…the truth comes out.

From now on they should have only one beauty pageant in the world name Miss WorldUniverseInternationalEarthPlanetGrandinternationalIntercontinentalAsiapacific. That way there will be no more scams and aspiring candidates will not get disapointments.
There are a lot of red flags and they failed to conduct due diligence.
According to the post of Wilbert Tolentino it sounds like the problem is from the local organizers. It's Uganda's first time to host an International pageant. At the moment, Miss Planet International posted an official announcement in their page, the pageant will be push thru. Wondering if those who withdraw still likes to join (if still in Uganda) also it will be nice if the organization will reimburse the candidates personal expenses because of the delay. This is not about money anymore but about the reputation of the organization.

You mistakenly mentioned Miss Grand International instead twice.
Uganda as host? That is a big red flag! And her manager is moving heaven and hell to get her to compete an international pageant? Why force it? Why? And this pageant is not known at all and that itself should be a warning but no, they push through. They did not do any research at all. Common Sense should have been used.
I am a candidate there and there is so much going on behind the scenes. For now, we do not want to disclose any information since some candidates are still stranded in Uganda

When I heard it will be held in Uganda, I already had doubts. And when I saw the introduction of candidates on the grass and not even in a covered court, I already knew they were scammed.
Let this be a lesson to Herlene's team. There is a reason why Herelene lost during her Binibining Pilipinas stint. They could have just used all these time and money towards Herlene's personal and professional development instead.
