I love Mallory, she's on the amazing race! she's so friendly and cooperative with the other teams!!
I had the pleasure of sitting at the same table with her at Caressa's homecoming in March 2010 and I just love her. What a fabulous young lady. So nice, genuine and funny. We laughed all night.
She's really cute without her makeup. She's on The Amazing Race s17 now. I love watching her. Damn.,
So how many of you actually know Mallory? Probably none.. Well to tell you the truth I went to high school with her.. Her and jade (her sister) are 2 of the nicest people you will EVER meet they are awesome. So judge her singing all you want she was the best candidate for this because at least she's not totally fake like the others..
@rachelizabeth1 She sung at my school and the tv makes her sound worse than in real live 🙂
She came to my school Beaver elementary u can see it on her blog and shes kin to our school nurse 🙂
Her song choice for the talent portion infuriates me! I don't care how nervous she was or her reasoning behind the song choice; it was still crap. Her voice is "okay", but not up to par to sing that song. That song is one of the MOST famous songs in theatre history and is in one of the MOST popular shows across the world. That song was not meant to be sung like witney Houston.
i think she sang perfectly!
Okay, "On My Own" from Les Mis was not meant to be done in the way she did it. She could have picked any other number to flaunt her talents and present her voice, and she chose a bad one for her voice part. The song is supposed to be a mezzo soprano song. The style in which she did it was an alto pop song, totally changing the feeling and emotion and grace that the true arrangement of "On My Own" has. She has an amazing voice, but the song was all wrong.
I hate how she changed it. It didn't sound anything like a musical song. The lyrics were the same, but she tried to make it really showy and it sounded more like a modern pop song when she sang it, which wasn't cool w/me at all.
interesting choice to sing THAT song about her relationship with god…. you know… a song about how you're PRETENDING he's there, but he ISN'T? That would only make sense if she's recently become an atheist… I'm not trying to be rude, the lyrics are quite clear. I'm not saying she is a bad singer, but I am saying this song was a bad choice. And yeah, I'm a musical theatre major at a Unniversity, so not only do I sing in front of tons of people all the time, I pay to get graded on it.
she should fire whoever told her to sing that song. it was a trainwreck.
