Bert Parks sang this song for many years on the Miss America Pagents. This one he was a guest to sing the song again in 1990. I believe this is the last time he sang the song on TV…(read more at source)

😎😎😎 I am offended….where are the DRAG QUEENS ?????
Christ. What a corny old phoney.
song is lit
Had to come here after watching Paul Mooney 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣hilarious
He's lip syncing! Look at :42 when he blows the kiss. Not taking away his talent, but…
He sang it like Jim Nabors sang Back Home Again in Indiana . You just can’t replace them.
haha – he sure wasn't a good lip sinker, though.
My lord , no women of color at all🫢
So, this is where the phrase comes from? I just came across a 1982 episode of The Price Is Right, and the lady who wins had either just become engaged or was very recently married. She wins her particular showcase, and Bob stands there while the couple are celebrating their win. He goes on to say, "There they are, Mr. and Mrs. (Lastname)."
Years ago, before my grandma passed, when she would see me (or any of her grandsons) the first thing she would always say was, "There he is, Mr. America!"
So, yeah. Never heard about this Bert Parks until Bob Barker proclaimed something in a way that just completely mirror that which my grandma would also say to her grandkids so frequently.
I listed to this since I was a kid 6 years old as I got older this got funnier and funnier
Alright Bert
They've ruined it now or time just moved on. What a shame.
When America was America. Liberals ruin everything.
SING IT BERT ❤️😂
Why is this so funny to me
I had to look him up because he was a guest star on the show 227; Brenda was thinking about competing in the Miss Teen Washington Beauty Pageant
Who's here because of Paul Mooney ???
I remember these days we used to sit in front of the TV and watch Burt Parks singing to the newly crowned Miss America. To this day it just lit up my life. Hearing Mr. Parks on singing this same song on a new commercial to the Olympian Women, still gives my goosebumps.
Thanks for the memories Bert Parks.
Can’t believe that Dick’s sporting goods commercial ruined the meaning of this song. Miss America isn’t ugly beat up manly women😣
The commercial with the 2021Olympic athletes brought me here. Very nice 👍
