Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, comments on the story of the first biological male to win a local Miss America pageant (New Hampshire). Brían Nguyen said, “I am ecstatic to be the first transgender woman to be a Miss America local titleholder, and I hope to make everyone proud and become the first to walk the Miss America stage.” Among Hank’s first thoughts upon seeing the story was the question, Why are the fellow women contestants cheering and going along with the ruse? Here is a clear example of absurdity. The pageant is no longer about authentic feminine beauty. This is a charade. Yet, all too often we are quiet. Perhaps we, too, fear that if we say something, we’ll be called out as out of touch with social trends—as backward or benighted. But we do need to speak up. And we must teach our children principles to live by so they are not swept along by this radical Wokism tide.

  1. I'm noticing more and more that people will not call evil evil. They skirt the issue. One political figure said that she is only interested in the content of the person's character. Well, doesn't all of this speak to the person's character? I certainly have compassion that there are those being led astray, but enabling them does not help. This is what happens when the church says that there is no law. They can blame themselves because they are no longer salt and light. The time is short. Start studying your Bible, repent, pray for forgiveness, and get on the narrow path that leads to life.

  2. People voted for him out of pity and morally corrupt political and social pressure. It's obvious by the picture of it. It would definitely be a comedy if it weren't so tragic. Such are those who think love keeps people in their delusion. It's a sad commentary about the nation, which is the same commentary in Isaiah 1 about Judah at the time: "Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah." The remnant, of course, are the few righteous believers in the Messiah who aren't afraid of speaking against the corruption of the age. Thanks, Hank, for your persistence.

  3. So stealing someone else’s race is not ok but stealing another gender is ok. Just trying to educate myself on the “rules.” Thanks to CRI for standing for truth in this broken world.

  4. This was nothing more than a very good comedy sketch. This was just an award given to the boy with the worst sickness he has an illness thinking he's actually a girl and they gave him the award. Who knows next we might see Rosie O'Donnell win Man of the Year. !!😆

  5. "Perfect love casts out fear"
that statement has courage written all over it. We see a alarming shortage of bravery in the land of the free….could it be directly connected to a lack of love?
