Title: Beautiful gown
Review: I love this gown! It’s beautiful and I bought it to wear to my daughter’s summer wedding. It’s a very flattering fit and the sleeves should keep me cool in August yet still hide my not so perfect arms. I purchased a bra with clear bra straps so they won’t show through. I love the Alex Evenings line of formal dresses and this one didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait til my daughter’s wedding to wear it!

Title: Beautiful and flattering formal dress
Review: I bought this dress for a August formal wedding. It fits well and is flattering. I think it looks cool enough for a summer wedding but still formal. I like the fabric and it appears to be well made. I’m 5’6” tall and with 2.5 inch heals I will have it hemmed slightly so it will be long enough for a taller person. I weight 155 lbs and bought both a size 10 and 12 and kept the 10.

Title: Slit is too high and a little blah
Review: I was so excited to try on this dress, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I’m always weary of dresses with slits because I’m a little overweight, curvy, with thick thighs. The slit was just too high for me, and felt like I’d be conscious of it all night at the upcoming wedding. Also, I was hoping there’d be a way to wear a regular bra with this, but that was a no go. I have a black tie NYE wedding to attend and felt this was a little bit too boring. Nice quality but between needing to wear a strapless bra and fighting a slit halfway up my thigh, this is sadly not the dress for me. Still giving it 4 stars because it seemed well made and a nice dress for a different body type.

Review: I bought this to wear as a Mother-of-the-groom dress this fall. It fits to size. Love the fit; it’s very forgiving and the dark color does well to hide middle aged bulges. ☺ I like that it has flowy sleeves, but you can still see your arms so it doesn’t feel so overwhelming. Lining goes under the sleeves, in the arm pit/side boob area, so you are covered, as well as across the chest, so you won’t accidentally flash someone. I saw this on local department stores sites for much more. Very pleased with my purchase.

Review: I really like the color and fit of this dress! I usually wear a 10, but ordered a 8. I had to return and get a size 6. Beware this free runs big. I am 5’4” and this dress is a bit too long, so I will need to have it taken up a few inches. Overall, the dress is flattering and I love the sleeve detail.
