I'm African American and there is NO NEED TO HATE. We were raised to not separate Black from Black. Having said that. Carribean women are so beautiful. They make me so proud. 😁They can't mention all the past winners. Some of the winners were controversial anyway.😮 Miss World-Grenada 1970 was a 100% Fix, read about it on the internet. Miss World_Jamaica 1963 &1974 carol then cindy. CAROL ENTERED AS A WHITE JAMAICAN now they're claiming she was the first woman of colour to win miss world. CINDY WAS NOT MISS JAMAICA. THE JAn government,as PROTÈST AGAINST APARTHEID withdrew miss Jamaica from the competition that year. The Boss of Miss World contacted a club in jamaica and cindy was sent from the club, she did some modelling prior to that. 😆

You forgot Jennifer Hosten, Miss World 1970. Miss Hosten is/was and will always be the first African woman to vie and win an international pageant competition.
As faith will have it, Pearl Janssen second (2nd) placement was a continental African from South Africa, Apartheid.
