Bad move. Each time a runner-up is called, from the 4th to the eventual winner, I'm at the edge of my seat. And imagine doing away with the suspense and the visuals of the two remaining candidates holding hands. If it isn't broke, why fix it.

If that is true then Ms. Universe has now become so shallow to allow this format of 6 runners up & 1 winner to ruin the excitement Ms. U is known for. Does that mean that next 72nd edition, we will expect 2 winners & 5 runners up, and 3 winners & 4 runners up the year after that and so on & so forth in succeeding years? Where is the logic in that? All that fans wanted is to make Ms. U to be more exciting, visually spectacular and glamorous in every way; Not by changing formats. Ms. U is a gathering of the most beautiful, intellectual, passionate, advocacy-driven women in the entire universe and it needs to be celebrated!!! It is not Ms. U for NOTHING!

In Miss Universe throughout the years di rin ma itatanggi na ang dami na din runners up na napaka huhusay pero di na nabigyan ng exposures, siguro time na din for that kind of format. 😘
