Title: The Carrotene line is worth the investment – review for the whole line
Review: I cannot recommend their Carrotene line enough. I have combination, sensitive, acne prone (cystic) skin. I’ve looked for years for a routine that addresses all of those concerns that isn’t prescription. I use the foam cleanser-toner-serum-cream daily and benzoyl peroxide on cystic spots. I’m asked often what my skincare routine is because for the first time in my entire life my face is clear, not irritated and glowy.The concentrated spot treatment in this line isn’t really necessary because everything is already pretty concentrated. The Carrotene body wash works well for KP on and body breakouts, but I can’t use it on armpits, privates, face – it’s too strong. The trick is to let it sit for a couple of minutes. If I’m taking an everything shower, I will apply it with a little water on my back and chest breakouts like a mask and turn the water off while I shave so it sits for a while. The body lotion works well on KP and I’ve used it on my face in a pinch. It was fine, not as soothing. I do not like the feel of lotion on my body, so I only use a little of it and not regularly. That’s nothing against the product itself. It’s still effective. It’s just a neurospicy sensory thing. The oil melt cleanser thing is fine too, but I just use coconut oil for eye makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup usually.Korean and Japanese skincare is superior to prescription and most over-the-counter skincare in the U.S., IMO. I do not use anything anti-aging yet even though I’m old enough to have had a MySpace account, but this line is so hydrating and soothing that I don’t see many frown lines. I also have naturally oily skin, so less wrinkle prone.Summary – my basic routine is foam cleanser-toner-serum-cream daily and benzoyl peroxide. If you don’t have the money for anything else, those are my favorites.

Review: APRILSKIN Carrotene IPMP™ Instant Calming Serum PadsI love using a good toner since it really helps serums and creams absorb better but this is the first time I have tried a serum pad. There is a LOT of liquid in the container so be sure to open this container on a stable, flat surface. Using a saturated pad to wipe over a freshly cleansed face, gently wipe all over and pat in any extra. You don’t need to rinse after using this. It has no real scent and I think this is a bit more hydrating than other serums I have used. The pads are really plush too and can be used as a mini facial by placing the pads on your face for a few minutes and then moving the pads with the additional serum to the next area.I have no clue how many pads are in the jar but maybe 30? This is made in Korea and is safety-sealed with a foil seal. Once you open it and replace the lid, it now opens as a flip top. There are tiny tweezers inside the lid that helps get each pad out. Title: Excellent calming serum pads that work with Foreo UFO device
Review: I am so happy with this product!! I love when I find serum pad that work well with my foreo ufo 2 device. This scamming serum pad works wonders on calming my skin down after it becomes sensitive due to sun exposure or derma planning. My skin can occasionally be sensitive for no apparent reason so I do tend to keep a decent amount of calming products to preventatively keep my skin calm, hydrated and restore its natural barrier to protect again the elements.This calmin seurm pad is fanatics for calming my skin down when it’s being sensitive. It has a pretty good list of ingredients even though theres a few I do not recognize. I love that niacinamide is one of the top 5 ingredients. Niacinamide works wonders for my skin. Not only does this serum pad calm my skin down but, it has also helped to brighten my skin tone as well. I’ve been using this every day for a few days now and I have not experienced any adverse or unwanted side effects from adding this to my skin care routines. I just love the natural dewy glow I get when I use this serum pad.Secondary to the results, I am incredibly excited that this serum pad works with my foreo ufo 2 device. I would highly recommend these calming (and brightening) serum pads especially if you have a foreo ufo (1 or 2) device. I use these on the custom settings along with the orange LED light therapy.
