Title: Pretty color, very moisturizing- hate the tube and how it melts during shipping
Review: I love that this lippie doesn’t have poisonous chemicals and how subtle and nourishing it is – but the cardboard tube doesn’t protect it from heat. My first tube arrived completely melted – a plastic tube would prevent this huge mess . And while I understand the desire to not use plastic, some sort of engineering needs to take place to prevent my $30.00 lip balm from being a puddle inside an Amazon package.

Title: Genuinely a good product minus a few flaws
Review: I first want to say. I am not new to the plastic free movement. I have been gradually switching to plastic free alternatives for the last few years. I am a little lacking in the beauty department because while there are plastic free alternatives out there. Some of them are just not good. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Oceanly. I was already familiar with Attitude (had not used any products but had heard of them before).First observation – they are quite expensive. However, this was not surprising as plastic free beauty is not very mainstream so this price reflects the market, not so much the product. As I said I am experienced in the plastic free movement and this is not just plastic free beauty but more or less the movement as a whole. As it because more widely accepted and accessible the prices will likely reflect.Second observation – the packaging is well thought out and frankly quite pleasing. You can tell they decided to go sustainable without sacrificing the appeal of the product which at first glance is the packaging. It’s easy to use and highly travel friendly. I’m on the go constantly so I have to have stuff that holds us. This fits my lifestyle.Third observation – this is where I docked a star, the product itself. The formula is a bit gritty. Which I hate in a lip product but I really wanted to like this. This does subside as it goes onto the lips and warms itself. I have a feeling it’s partially due to temperature. It’s quite cold where I am. The color is a bit light but I was expecting that. I have very pale skin and it’s pale on me but I expected that so not much a complaint just an observation. As for the formula, calling it a gloss is a stretch, to me it’s more of a balm. There again that could be temperature, in the heat it might be more gloss than balm. I will say for a sustainable lip product it’s quite hydrating. Most ecofriendly lip products I’ve tried fall short of helping my lips. I do have chronically dry lips. This is also not quite unscented but more natural unscented. Can smell a hint in the tube but taste nothing or smell on the lips.If you’ve read my long winded review, I’d like to say I did spend my money on this and I have extensive experience reviewing beauty products. I’d give this an 8/10. While the formula has some issues, it’s a lot less than others on the market. I am hoping to try their unscented lip balm as well as the other gloss in the shade happy berry but in due time. I’m excited to see more from Oceanly.Update:I’ve continued using this and as far as the grainyness goes it’s definitely a temperature issue. As it warms up on the lips the grainy pieces melt into the skin. This also passed the overnight moisture test. Meaning put it on, go to bed, and see how my lips feel when I wake up. They are soft and not dry at all. So for a plastic free lip balm that is phenomenal. I do wish they had this in clear though. Not loving the color.

Review: i like this lip gloss a lot. It’s sheer but feels nourishing. The Ginger color is on the brown side of nude. The Berry color is on the pink side of nude. The packaging works well. I live in Florida and one came a little melted but not too bad and nothing that won’t fix itself with use. The other was perfect.

Title: CHANGE THE PACKAGING
Review: The product is not worth paying $20. The balm is gritty and in my opinion does not keep your lips moisturized in the long run. I have used it consistently for 2weeks and haven’t noticed a significant difference. The packaging sucks. If they could utilize a better dispensing system, and make the product smoother then maybe but I will not be repurchasing or recommending.

Review: Was looking for an boycott friendly alternative to cliniques chubby sticks that didn’t help fund a gen.ocidal state. Very happy to have found this! Review: First, the box it came in looked like it was reused several times. Worn and used. The lip chap/gloss/stick was new, but it wouldn’t twist up at all, so I couldn’t use it. I was able to return it for a refund. I really wanted to like this! I love the Attitude brand and I use many of their products. Hopefully this was just some sort of mistake on the line that it wouldn’t twist up.
