IN THE RECENT Bb. PILIPINAS INTERNATIONAL 2021 COMPETITION.
You cannot compare who gave the best answered , because the questions was not the same…..each questions explained different answered…..
For example….Miss Cindy … was about to answered the question about Luxury stuff this time of pandemic, while Miss Hannah was about to answered the question about Freedom of Speech .
Both are good questions….but the one for Hannah…..the question was not easy to answered….because …it was about … human rights…in which you have to be careful answering it , if you live in a country under pressure….
But she gave a good answered….

That "when is it okay to not okay…." question is so stupid. It's really an open ended question. You cannot give a specific black and white answer. It's more like a scenario based question, which is not suitable for any competition.

Hi Alvin, thanks so much for your insight and analytical expertise. I simply adore everything you said. You used some powerful adjectives like " forgettable". Honestly, these hackneyed messages of candidates about wanting to help people when they don't say "how" and "expand a bit more", can be so repetitive , and you said the same thing.I also agree with you 200% on the answers that finish "too soon ," leaving the audience with an unsatisfying feeling. It all reminds me of The Elevator Pitch which is a short speech one should have, ready to deliver when we see that important businessman / business woman / angel investor etc enter the elevator. We have to arouse their interest in that short elevator ride, or if not, when they walk out of the elevator, we have lost them forever.The Elevator pitch must be not too long but not too short – like the Goldilocks Economy expression: not too hot, but not too cold. So the Q&A in pageants is the same. Actually we all use these elevator pitches without realising it: When we need to speak to a doctor in the passage of the hospital (without having an appointment, when we are looking for a job in a specific company, etc). Alvin, I love how you didn't include the first part of Kylie's question to Meiji. I think Kylie's question is a trick question. The question is divided in two parts. The first part (beauty queens being considered as athletes) isn't actually related to the true question, and is strategically placed there to distract Meiji from focusing on the real question which is actually at the second part of the sentence.
